can the last race not be this fkn blue asphelt off camber 90 degree track next year

maybe with all the pressure on massa atm he will feel obliged to tangle with webber on turn 1?
Lights out drop the clutches, straigh away massa gets radio "Felipe, Webber is close to you, do you understand?"
tbh an Alonso engine fireball is about all I can see entertaining in terms of championship no?
but in isolation the race could be good
does shit me that Webber goes and lands 5th when it goddam really counts. Has he been finally worn down by the politics in the team and resulting press etc?

taken from another forum, found it amusing
Vet and Webbo clash at the first corner taking them both out of the race. Alonso picks up a puncture from the debris and falls to the back of the grid after a change of tyres. Hammy inherits the lead and the title is in the bag. Meanwhile Alonso fights his way through the field only to find himself in eleventh place and needing only a point to win the title. He starts the last lap 3 secs behind his team mate when his radio crackles into life " OK...............Fellipe has signed for McLaren...............please confirm you understand".................

^yeh it has been a problem for them also, many of them have been caught up in alcohol and violence also. But so do all races I'm not trying to stereotype. The Maoris also make up a larger proportion of modern NZ than aboriginals do in Australia and they have been lucky to find a national sport in rugby union that suits their physical strength and they are revered for that in many cases. However I am not exactly up on NZ's history in this area maybe someone else could shed some light also.
Also aboriginals are spread over the largest and driest continent on the planet so cohesion and communication through their ranks has been difficult, particularly with so many different tribes, dialects etc.
-
me too... I don't mind if you personally don't want to say sorry but to deny any relevance to the apology based on a very thin experience of aboriginal people and their culture is fairly close minded
these are the same people who will be the first to put up their hands and complain about the treatment they get as 'import' or 'skyline' drivers... they will complain that a cop knew nothing about imports and just assumed they were a hoon, treated them unfairly, accused them of things they didn't do... they complain about ignorance of their culture but don't see the need to try and understand what someone else has faced...
exactly very good point for some on here to digest imo
another factor that has made transition to modern life extremely difficult for the aboriginals compared to all these other races or people brought up for example the armenians (the bleeding heart analogy could well be used their also btw) is that they are being expected to go from hunter gatherers to suits and finance in a couple of generations like wtf
Other examples particularly the european ones are rather different due to this point, we have taken thousands of years of change from the egyptians to the greeks to the romans to the medievil times the renaissance and so on, none of which was experienced at all by the aboriginals. Its not an excuse or total explanation by any means but a valid point to keep in mind before trying to wonder why the aboriginals are struggling perhaps more than some others peoples.
-
I say just give it a fair go (saying sorry) and be happy as Australians that Aboriginal Australians are feeling healing and are accepting the goverments apology for the stolen generation and past governments actions and policies. See the aboriginal elders being warmed by it and saying it helps them should be enough to say was the right thing to do by Rudd.
If aboriginals are accepting the apology and changing their views of the government and 'white fellas' then we should challenge our stereotypes of aboriginals and give them a new fair go also. That's what it boils down to, not comparisons and analogies and nit picking.

just saw bits and pieces but seemed like alot of emotional string pulling and not much real suggestions or solutions
cant believe how the presenter glossed over a great comment about how people are only trained to pass the test and not how to really drive in all situations including emergencies

dont rent a scooter whatever you do... oh, unless you have a death wish of course
lol I just got back from thailand and um yeh had a scooter for a couple of days and crashed it......all on my own lol had a shocker
I was going up this incredibly steep hill and 2nd gear was running out of revs so had to change to 1st or I was gonna start going backwards. Sooooo I figured a quick change was in order to keep momentum but I didnt count on the pile of torque in first and the thing kicked up like a king cobra and I was hanging on for dear life lol
after a funny struggle to keep control it went down at all of about 20km/hr and smashed the tail light assembly and ripped off the rear number plate
