    Hi guys

    I own a 2003 M35 AXIS and have the following queries.

    First;

    is the car a 4wd?

    the 4wd light comes on sometimes and most of the time is off? why is this?

    2nd;

    i had a bloke come out to instal an alarm on the vehicle. He advised the dirvers door has no lock/ unlock motor. meaning when the alarm is activated or deactivated it will open or close all the doors bar the drivers door. After pulling the driver door trim off he to advised it was activated via a wire which looked like it was from factory and that it didnt seem like a motor once existed in the door before?

    mate very sorry to hear, i honestly know what your going through. i had an evo8 mr stolen in december (no insurance). still not found

    ive got a few leads as to who does re birthing and the like. if you are prepared to sit outside some adresses i am happy to pass them onto you

    2008 Greenslip Price Increase

    Just recived my greenslip renewal notice for 2008 including the new MCIS levis (medicare and injury services levis)

    nrma want $615.83

    aami want $609.00

    i usually pay $330 approx

    i have a no accident history,29yo,automatic,garaged good area,60% N.C.B,etc etc

    what gives?

    aami said its because its an import,but i have never had this high a premium on my r32gts-turbo manual......

    thats over 1K including rego and pink slip...

    thats quite strange , i had registered an evo8 in november last year, greenslip thru aami for $430

    ive recently moved all the insurance for work cars over to QBE. give them a go

    i have the camera with a button to pop the screen,its ok,but has a narrow field of view-so reversing into a street light to the side of the car is a real possibility if your not carefull!!

    wounder just how much nissan charged for the motorized option initially?

    ive also got the pop up.

    may i ask how many people have pop up and how many have the motorised screen (very curious to know what most of them are)

    local TV reqiures a new tv tuner. the OE one cannot be used. depending one what you use will determine cost. I use digital TV boxes and they are not cheap crap.

    is the tuner something i can purchase from super cheap auto or jb hifi, or autobarn or from you? is it plug and play or some mucking around to do ?

    hi guys im a little confused with all the info here, especially some of the acronyms used.

    but from what i can gather changing the nav to english is tricky and expensive.

    what im more concerned about atm is converting the screen so i can tune into local tv ?

    is this a tricky one too. whats req'd to do the job? is it easy to do?

    i remember someone in one of the threads called it a pimple on the back of the car. is kinda bulky and a slight turn off. i have one on my car. for those who are unaware how they look from factory refer to attachment.

    this aside i would like to know how many people actually have the automatic pop up screens and how many people actually have a button ontop which needs to be pressed to have the screen come up?

    yes it can! it will be a refit as the OE gear will NOT work here. I keep the stuff on hand to do it.

    thanks for the reply chris, and i would also like to say special thanks to you again for all the time you spent writing in the forums. Ive read quite a bit of your posts and found them quite helpful..

    in regards to the screen, i take it it can be done however the screen will need to go and a different screen will need to be fitted ? is that correct? and how much will this exercise cost me chris ?
