  1. For sale is my 2002 Nissan Stagea 250t RS Four V NM35 wagon in champagne gold. It's a 2.5L V6 turbo (VQ25DET) AWD. Has 206KW from factory.

This car has been an absolute pleasure to own and drive and I am sad to let her go. I purchased the car in 2011 with 66,000Ks on the clock, it now has 106,800Ks. I am the second owner in Australia and apparently only one owner in Japan.

The following modifications were carried out by me during my ownership.

    - Skyline V35 Brembo calipers (same as 350Z) front and rear. Calipers have been reconditioned, resprayed and heat treated in original Brembo gold. Looks brand new.

    - Slotted and cross drilled brake discs (larger than standard) F&R.

    - EBC Red stuff brake pads F&R. All brake upgrades are less than 10,000Ks.

    - 350Z touring rims (Forged Rays) with Bridgestone Potenza RE002 235/40/18 all round.

    - Bilstein suspension upgrade. Best handling upgrade for the M35 Stagea and lowers the car about 1.5 inches. Perfect stance in my opinion.

    - 3” dump pipe & front pipe, high flow cat and Kakimoto R catback. Nice deep sound.

    - Trust replacement panel air filter.

    - Koyo aftermarket radiator. Thicker core than factory, more suitable to Australian heat.

    - Alpine head unit and front splits (Type R), Jaycar 4 channel amp, Pioneer 6” in rear doors and Bose spare wheel well sub.

Body is in great condition. Had rear left door, rear left quarter panel and rear boot resprayed due reversing incident into parking pillar by previous owner. No major damage but scratches were noticeable. Other than that, no other accidents. Very clean, has some imperfections for a car that is 13 years old but nothing bad. Massive boot space.

Changed the spark plugs a little while ago with the recommended Denso Iridiums which costs $30 each and good for 150,000Ks. Chances are you will never need to replace them.

Car serviced every 5,000-8,000Ks at Chasers Motorworks at Footscray. Have a chat to Glenn about the car, he knows this car well.

Drives extremely well with no issues at all. Has plenty of power to play with. Always planned to track it with the mods but unfortunately never had a chance. Been a pleasure to own and will be sad to see it go after the time and effort spent on the car. Selling due to relocating overseas for work. Otherwise I would keep it.

Not on REVS and has no finance owing on it.

Price is $13,500 negotiable and is located at Point Cook, Melbourne.

    Please call 0430 969 988 to discuss.

    Cheers

  2. When I lived in Brisbane, I took it to a mechanic (mate of a mate) in Alderley. He did a lot of work to my M35 so is quite familiar with them.

He did a lot of the work very cheap. Train station right next door too.

Check him out - Dave is his name, owns a S15 and a big power VL Turbo as well.

  3. Hey mate..

    Did you get this sorted?

I'm having similar issues. From about 60kms to 70kms, there is a noticeable vibration, particularly within the cabin as the centre console starts to rattle. After 70kms it disappears. The steering doesn't vibration though, making me think it may be the transmission.

All 4 tyres were changed just under 2 months ago along with a wheel alignment. Brakes calipers and disc are brand new too.

    Anyone have other ideas?

    Cheers...

  4. Thanks again Scott for that. I did consider the Helmholtz chamber but thought it would cost too much to fabricate a custom one.

    I might ask around more.

Dmyze - Yep I have a cat which is connected to my front pipe. The Kakimoto R is pretty damn loud but it's the cabin drone which kills it for me.

It's even more of an issue since I have a 2 year old plus another on the way.... I need it as quiet as possible.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

  5. Has anyone ever had a resonator installed on their M35? If so, how did you go about it and what were the results?

I've got a Kakimoto R catback with custom dump pipe and front pipes but it's just too loud.

I'd like to add a resonator but was told there isn't enough straight sections in the system to fit one.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

  6. Hey guys..

Just digging this up as I need some clarification.

For those who have performed the Z33 / V35 Brembo caliper upgrade, did you upgrade the brake lines as well?

Obviously upgrade lines is preferable but can I get away with the standard lines?

    Cheers guys.

  7. Is this the factory Bose spare wheel sub into a non Bose factory head unit? Please PM connection details if it is.

    Cheers

    Hey guys

it really wasn't so difficult. All you need is to find the wires for the power, earth, remote and speaker and fiddle with it. I had it connected into the amp so it didn't come directly from the HU. It still uses it's in-built amp though.

It honestly wasn't hard you just need the patience to still there and play around with it.

  8. Glad you're very happy with the results, but I am confused.

Kakimoto R (and N1 for that matter) only came in stainless steel. DO you have a pic of the cat-back that was removed by any chance?

No picture but definitely mild steel. Had rust spots everywhere. I didn't know mild was an option but I guess it was back then. It a very old looking unit, the old one had a mid muffler as opposed to a resonator on the new unit.

  9. Finally fitted my full exhaust on my M35 replacing the old, tired Kakimoto R cat-back

Fitted the AM Performance dump and mid-pipe along with a brand new SS Kakimoto R cat-back

    Impressions..

Much deeper sound, revs so much more freely and quicker up the ranges.

Spools alot louder and harder. Just sounds so much better

Very impressed over all. Spent over $2K all up and had to wait 2 months but I'm happy..

    Highly recommend all items.

  10. Anyone running a BOSE spare tyre well sub in their non-bose equipped M35?

Just wanting opinions on how it sounds and how you got it up and running..

    Cheers..
