  1. With my stock turbo boost starts to build at about 1800rpm and is nearly full boost 9psi by 2600rpm falling off a bit by 6000 rpm

    I'd like to move the build up about 400rpm ie 2200-3000rpm and hold 1bar to 7000.

    That should help keep it off boost in heavy traffic but still be responsive to bit of right foot.

    I'm still thinking my best bet would be the 2530 but I'm not sure if it will boost that early on an rb20.

    I've been told it should start boost about 2500rpm and be 1bar by 3500rpm which is still very responsive.

    Would that be near the money?

    What rpm would the 2510 run out of puff? 6500?

    hks claim 6150rpm( you might aswell tell people you changed your car to a single cam LOL )

    go 2530!

  2. Hey.    I’m sure it has already been asked, but how many KW could a standard bottom end of an RB26DETT handle comfortably? Because I don’t want to have to strip it down and change the bearings, pistons and blah blah blah…  

    My R32 is off the road for a while (turbo issues), until I have bought or saved up enough to get all my little bits and pieces.

    This is what I am thinking of doing… I am thinking about changing my turbos. I was thinking about the ball bearing Garrett 2530’s or maybe 2540’s and if I am licky I'll go gor the 2860's that are on the GCG web site (are these any good?) - I haven’t looked into it much. And then I want to do my injectors, fuel pump, dump pipes, oil cooler and filter relocation kit, new cam gears, and a power FC. I have Apexi pods on at the moment, but I want to buy new ones, and get a few little bits a pieces repainted in the engine bay. Just to “bling” it up a little. I just bought an absolute banger of a head and its got some major work done to it, so the power and airflow shouldn’t be a problem up top, But would I need to change the intercooler and plumbing too?

    How do you get the fluttering noise from your BOV...? What sort of BOV do you recommend for this type of noise....?

    Greddy Type S , Adjustable sexc blow off vavle.

    They are my favourite one of the pack!

    Quite expensive, but Greddy's engineering is leading performance.

  4. Why would you want to get a 2510 over a 2535? Are you worried about lag?

    Ive driven a car with a 2510 ( CEFIRO ) a R32 with a 2530 and another cefiro with a 2540... believe it or not, the 2540 was hella responsive!!!

    The 2530 was definatly the FASTEST BAD-ASS turbo of them all....

    the cefiro... well i would use that for shopping since you wont be using the redline ( sarcasm) the redline sucks with a 2510.. not good for driftn, because when you drift/race you want as many RPM's as you can get whilst still maintaining the factory power curve ( ifnot better )

  5. How do you drive your car ? Do you race it allot?

    Do you do burnouts,drift or lots of HARD proper launches?

    Ifso, a heavy duty will NOT last. I have burnt them in 1 month of PROPER driving :)

    I went button and it lasted me 6 months of the same things i did in a button which lasted 1 month.

    Now i have HKS Twin Plate and its been such a long time.. over a year :thankyou:

    how did you pick up a wing off him when he is in another state? did he deliver it?

    can i have your old tracking number? beacuse im keen , but dont have any trust in this kid.
