  1. and to my ole buddy Darren (Deluxe).......it's a shame we never had the chance to catch up for that beer at the Espy cause although a few years ago you wouldn't want to have known me, you may have understood why I get along with most peeps these days. It's only a couple of members on here that continually have nothing worth saying that gets my back up.

Pete mate, I am also spewing we missed having that beer, was a great day, and a great cause!! Im a little unsure as to what your talking about with the "a few years ago" thing, from what i remember i prob did know of/meet you a few years ago, If your talking about before that, then nothing i can do about that and only look to the time i have known you, I have no problems with you or any of the mods or they way you guys are cleaning up, I have said this to Andrew and Luke before, If we've had a dissagreement in the past year over anything, then i cant remember, I hope this shows you how much of it i take to heart on the net, I can agree to disagre, which is what i think ALOT of people on here cant and or dont understand. But hey thats just my point of view!

    Enough said!!

  2. first time i have been on here in a week, and now i know why.

lol, i used to hate Delux, i thought he was an honest f*kkwitt!

nisskid used to annoy the shit outta me, and ted used to press my buttons too...

    BUT....

i then sold my skyline, realised i didnt HAVE to be hear, took my head out of my ass and seen the light..

in a way, all the regular whores on here, are so far up each others ass, that they agree with every one's opinion, even if they disagree

with it... just to form that united look about them... strength in numbers imho.

meh, thats my opinion. merely an observation.

    just sayin....

Craig, Nice work mate, see people its not that hard people, and look what he called me :blink: Look id have to say that some things i didnt agree with that you said and obviously vice versa.

You've pretty much hit it on the head, Once one of the "buddies" suggests anything, bang the sheep follow, something gets suggested and no way cant do that....

But yeh nah, sorry ive given it a while, and nothings changed in that reguard so....Im Out!!

  3. Serious question, WHY do you continue to come onto SAU? Everytime I see a post of yours it seems to be putting down SAU in some way so yet you keep coming back on and rant on about the same ol same ol SAU sucks its gone down hill yadida etc.

Seriously, if your that keen to leave SAU behind why can you just NOT log in? Why try to make a scene by posting it out loud that you want to be banned so you cant come back - just leave? Or even then why not PM an Administrator that you want your account to be closed.

Personally, I've met plenty of members from here and they've all been a great bunch. The enjoyment and information I get from this forum far outweighs the minor issue I find with the few members that continues to come on here just to 'point it out to everyone' how much they dislike the forum and how shit its become.

Because i can! and im making sure i dont have the chance TO log back in, I guess i have no control at Kindergym, I mean on here!

  4. for the record, me and ted are just saying what a lot of people are thinking, the issue is some mods are creating an environment where anyone who opposes them gets raped by their mod powers. If SAU meant enough to me these days that i couldnt handle not getting banned, or on the bad side of a few of it's members, then i might keep my mouth shut too. but the honest truth is this section has gone to shit, and id rather voice my opinion and get banned than continue to keep my mouth shut and play along with this shit.

Agreed, It also confirms this when you get PM's saying thankyou for posting what you have posted.

Ive never personally met Nisskid or Ted, so im not agreeing with them just because i might be their mates, heck even Stu and i have come to disagreements on NS and more than likely here in the past.

Mods? anyone want to PM me about deleting accounts?? Anyone? And dont give me that shit about we cant delete accounts, because Prank wants a massive list of members for his beloved forum, so it can attract sponsors!!

  5. How do we go about getting these lifetime bans??.....I could be keen before i end up like Ted and "abusing" everyone. And i dont want the opportunity to do that. Id rather not be able to log in.

Please would a mod PM me regarding this!

  6. Guys like Dan, Dave etc can stir me and know how I'll take it cause they're mates.......you on the other hand have not built up any repour with me and therefore not only don't have the privilige of doing so, but it's not welcome.
Its not "priviliges" between members having a bit of fun, its the fact that they're acquianted with each other. Good humour comes with good mateship. Certain members (we know who they are) lack the "mateship" value and substitute it with "insults/personal attacks". Some posts can be taken in good humour, whereas others are a direct (tho incognito) insult to other members/moderators.

    :D:P

And as for the mesh.....You keep telling yourself that ok!

  7. Guys like Dan, Dave etc can stir me and know how I'll take it cause they're mates.......you on the other hand have not built up any repour with me and therefore not only don't have the privilige of doing so, but it's not welcome.

    Im not quite understanding here......

So for example, if a newbie came along and saw Dan and/or Dave "stirring" yourself or anyone for that matter, and saw that they had the "privilige" to do so, then it should be open slather for them or anyone else to do the same, shouldnt it?? Im not seeing how 2 or more people have more "privilges" than any normal forum user, after all in this country we are all about equal rights arent we??

Its ok to be mates outside of the forum, but when it comes to when everyone and moderating on a forum, the mateship should go out the door and mate or not should be treated the same way as a first poster.

  8. Welcome mate, a little different over here than NS, you will see!!

I officially eat my own words.......

Its actually Ted and Nisskid that make things interesting over here, they arent sheep and continue the ass sucking theme, Its funny looking back at this thread and seeing the replies, Wheres Dan gone, someone else who would tell it like it is, and not be afraid to voice his opinion, seems too many people here these days are too caught up in telling people what they want to hear, and also need thicker skin.

Oh and when people read posts, maybe stop and think what mood your in, If your in a shitty mood then your more than likely going to read what someone has written in a angry way, when they were clearly not using bad taste when posting. eg SAU SA thread, simply suggesting ideas to help out, but NO flamed for helping. Respect for this joint and its users........GONE!!

  9. I'll give Directors a call tomorrow and book a table/room for (say) 7.30pm next Friday (5/6/2009)? There will be much to discuss, and much for the club to offer its members.

Congrats to the chiefs voted in, and good luck with it all!!

Ruby, As we have our monthly meeting at the Directors, i would suggest to them that you will be looking to hold a meeting on, for example every 3rd tuesday of the month or something like that, book it in early and everyone in the club will know when the meetings are and have no excuses for missing it, Just a suggestion!

EDIT: oh and thats the room upstairs, ours is every 4th monday in the month, you might want to make yours every 4th Tuesday and they can leave the tables out!!

  10. Shouldn't the president elect his/her own committee? just a thought.

The president does not have a say in who he/she has as his/her "wingmen" all positions should be filled by the paying members, If there is a draw between 2 people then it should be a re vote with just those two in the running. Im wondering why the secretary is voted in first when the President is the highest rank there. Maybe to get the minutes rolling right from the start.

    Good to see Pete involved!!

  11. Hey - why is there so much beef between SAU and NS anyway?

I heard it was because most of you think that NS gets bad rep with the cops, but it was SAU that tried to befriend cops and then got defected, right? Yet us ns.com peeps don't have that problem at all... so that must not be the problem.

    so...what is the problem ?

Yeh i dont understand either Bill, it all happened between a few people in the All Japen Day thread over on the corner of NS.com, and then today it has happened again, but seems to be with the same SAU member.

I used to frequent here alot more before, but things have changed, and now see myself at NS more than here now, I used to be a "Yeh NS is so childish" sorta person, but wow how things can turn!!

Thanks Pete for the early warning!!

  12. :D This is great, Might invite the NS guys over here for some fun, Think they'd have a ball over here!!

So the guy that is spearheading the SAU SA has been banned from 7 forums......Geeez you guys know how to pick em....

  13. Yeah i was very surprised at the turn out, well over 30 cars were signed up for the day licence class. Way to many cars on the track IMO. Cams licence class wasn't to bad, most of the slower cars did there best to get out of the way, and i also try'd to get out of the way of the faster ones. That little Datto out there sure was a little rocket and that AU was just to good under brakes and cornering speed for me to keep up with.

Yeh 30 on the track is like a reasonable to big field in a race at a meeting, all good for Day licence people, another mate who races IPRA(Celica) took his mini he has out, and because he has a CAMS licence he was put in the CAMS section, he questioned them about putting a mini that would do hight 1min30's in with such cars as GT3 Porsches, They insisted he go out there and get in the way of the CAMS guys who are actually out there to get track data for coming meetings, makes it very hard to test parts out if you cant get anywhere near race pace because of other people!! But hey its the way life is i guess!!

Yeh that Datto 1600 races with us in IPRA, he would have been putting down times around the 1min18-19 id say, normally gets around in the 17s and even the 16s but track was a bit slow on saturday!!

  14. Was that the silver and green one with FOX on the windows? if so i wasn't very impressed with the way he was driving on Saturday. Overtaking me on the inside under brakes while i was overtaking cars that were waving me through. 3 cars wide into the corner after pit straight aint cool

That would have been his first session of the day, yeh he got a speaking to by Clem for that session, but that was for overtaking exiting turn 2, nothing was said about any other session, as they said they'd have their eye on him!!

Seems as tho these days are taking off, quite a number now turning up, I think they are gonna need to start thinking about dividing up the 2 catagories into lap times, quite a number of moving chicanes!!

  15. The real question is was he quicked than you, if he was and you were getting blue waved flags then you are supposed to let him through. You can't keep blocking him and then complain that he eventually pushed his way through, as you are as much at fault as he is.

I had the same incident during a modern reg' event where we are also not allowed to pass into corners. The bloke in front of me was holding me up and was getting constant blue flags but he wouldn't let me through so i was only left with passing him into a corner. i spoke with the clark of the course afterwards and he said what i did was fine because the other driver was ignoring the instructions of the flaggies.

Really though if the sessions are set up correctly then you shouldn't catch more than one or 2 cars in the first session (will depend on whether drivers know how quick they are expecting to go) and then in following session the cars should be staggered from quickest to slowest.

No blue flags on Open Prac Days mate, there isnt a flaggie at every point, that only happens at Modern Reg because the Superkarters need them for their races, and like you said they let the cars out in their lap times.

Also you can catch alot of cars on open prac days because they arent setup by lap times, so its each for themselves.

  16. AH you do relize there made in elizabeth right? frieght cost money from japan. and i was under the impression v6 commo panels fit. hence why its cheaper to insurure a v8 commo than a suzuki capicino as i read in a mag once.

also someone i know was telling me when he bought his v8 commo he got it because the insurance was cheaper than what he would be paying on a mitsu fto.

and anyways the amount of $ aint important maybe he fine with writing off his car but the people around him maybe wanna take a lil more care with their pride and joy that they are struggling to afford.

i was under the impression hassling people on the corners was not allowed and considered rude but eh i wasnt there so i shall say no more.

So the AUSTRALIAN steel that the car is made from, regardless of where its "made" is automatically dismissed by you??

And he's done the right thing by going to the track to learn the car and no doubt how to drive a bit! Something tells me he knew it would be a bit more serious than driving bumper cars around!!

I could just see it, F#$k up on the street and get flamed(and quite rightly) and F@#k up on the track(where you should be) and funily enough........get flamed again, seems to be a loose loose situation on here these days!!

Its not a drift prac night where if you have a problem you see who can smoke the most bongs to resolve the issue, Go to the sign in box and mention to them that there is "someone" on the track they should keep their eyes on, not hard.

But as you said money isnt important, and everyone is entitled to the same amount of track as the next guy even if he does have a 300k Porsche.

  17. actually if he chucks in the RWD front cradle and does away with transfer case it will weigh less than a standard R32 RWD car

GTR's are only heavier due to transfer case and extra front shafts CV joints and all the bits and pieces to make em AWD

Finally someone with brains has posted!!

Weight will be distributed nicely with a SR, and have no problems with the power, You should see if TT have got or can get hold of some corner weights Dan, that way fuel pumps, battery and so fourth can be mounted keeping the weight distribution in mind.

Anyways mate, thinking outside the square.....I like it!! :P

  18. Hey guys great day anybody have any footage

unfortunately blew my turbo spat a bearing (ouch)

thanks to all the guys that drove really well on the day and no thanks to the blue cars we all know about

thanks to "banned" we had fun chasing each other around the track.

hopefully fix turbo soon so i can get back out there for august 1st

You were the only one pushing into the braking zone into turn 1, Seems those brakes did work well.

Pity there were so many moving chicanes out there, you and Ryan would have put down some decent times, although track did seem slow!!

Was funny as seeing my mate in his Saloon Car(AU Falcon) no respect for turn 1 at all...... :P

  19. So let me get this right.......This joint does not have any form of security?? Like i means seriously they popped the bonnet and got the right socket size/spanners and unbolted the turbo and took off with it as well as a few other things they had time to steal?? Or did the alarms go crazy but it took chubbs waaaaay too long to get there??

Good luck getting the bits back and finding them!!
