CLEARLY, I didn't just say training is the only way to go. Training will help in alot of different situations in case of an emergency where they will need to correct an error, which we ALL make at times. I used the word 'Education' in meaning, teaching them what's wrong and right. Sounds childesh, but some of these people need it to get into their heards and be shown pictures and what could happen if they choose to make those mistakes. With harsher training and education, I would make NO objections to harsher penalties. I thought that I have done the same. Made everything I said simple and straight to the point and didn't make any insults towards anyone yet being called stupid and selfish I'm still trying to make a civil conversation. how is it black and white? i and many others have given plenty of different views and different directions in the way that the government can go about this. you say you have nothing to worry about because you wont be cought hooning. with some of the things i've seen you write like, 'carving up traffic' 'going for a spirited hills ride' etc all relating to you on your bike. i can understand that you can choose your time and place but please dont preach model citizen to everyone while you hoon around on your bike. clearly, people need to be more education about driving before even being able to set foot on public roads. so noone is saying that nothing needs to be done. i see alot of middle aged drivers who are worse then alot of P platers. if these rules where around years ago, i dont think the people who took the life of your mates would have changed their mind on what they did. clearly, they knew they could injure someone with their hooning as you put it and they did something worse then getting their car crushed and have to live with the fact that they took a life. also, what you need to do is LISTEN to the young (and stupid, as you said). let them have their say. why should the older generation faze out the younger ones. this is what really gets on my nerves. people who are so set on their ways that they dont see the bigger picture. for years now, people have been saying something needs to be done. so what happens? harsher penalties! what should happen is harsher training! how do you get good at something? you learn, you train and you become better! half a year clearly isnt long enough and the training that you get is shithouse! for our last comment, 'And you talk about loss of freedom. Hoons have already traded their freedom for paranoia.' i dont understand, are you calling peolpe who have a different point of view a hoon? and also, i have lost a mate to 'hoon' behavior and i still think this is a bad way around it. please dont take any of this as a personal stab, it's hard to word things without sounding like im pissed off through typing.

your giving up freedom for security which does lead to a police state. i bet if your bike was impounded and crushed your view would be very different specially if you weren't doing anything wrong! all it takes is one cop to say your were 'hooning' and it will snowball from there. 'hooning' dates back long before gen Y's been here! again, as above! cops can send you to regency for no reason why cant they impound you for no reason. loud music is considered hooning too. would you like your car being crushed because someone 'thought' your music was too loud? i dont want to sound like im having a go, it's not like that! i just dont want every person to start handing over their rights all because of the media BS and the older people's view on cars that are faster then a push bike! this is completely right! i havent been on the road nearly as long as some people (im only 21) but what small time i have been driving i've found that all people no matter the age suck at driving! people who learnt to drive many years ago who learnt from their parents who learnt from their parents, parents would have picked up bad habits. crushing car, impounding cars and defecting. all revenue and all to keep the mass amount of voters happy. just think about it.

well in the end end, i've met sled and nightcrawler and heslo. also are top vlokes and quite funny and great people to be around. ive also met nisskid once at his house a few years back when i bought an idle control valve off him. said if it didnt work bring it back and he would give my cash back. seemed like a nice enough guy. met tim (ted) at a car show. seemed very laid back and pretty chill and i spoke to him on msn. in the end i think people take the net way to seriously and you all need to step back and breath. were all here for the same thing. cars, friends and cheap car shit!

just spent about 500bux on the sil getting it ready for paint. pick it up and a third of the way home the water pump dies. now its getting another 500-600bux worth of crap on it. 52mm alloy rad being put on since the old ones coming off anyway. then goes back for a custom fmic install haha going to mount it upside down to sorten the pipe work and get better throttle response. after that gtr injectors and rb20 afm and a retune and i should be happy with the power side :s got a bride zeta III to pick up off my mate and all thats left is a cage i hate cars

doesnt have to be a defect blitz, never said it was? with the amount of retards driving on the streets being killed 'racing' id say its more likely going to be speed and rbt's rather then most other things if it is true. do as you want i dont really care. again, was just passing on a message.

i cant answer any of those questions as it was a message from a friend who would know better then me. people going away for 2 weeks and not seeing their families is nothing. mine workers do it all the time, my friend who works on oil rigs goes out for longer, ever heard of the army, navy or air force? they do it for months at a time! and if your still rolling on 19" rims, you do have something to worry about. i'll find out as much as i can, just thought that i would warn people as soon as i found out.
