  3. Got two pairs shipping from QSZ in Melbourne this morning and they are way too big for my Barina!

One pair was for my mate with a BMW however the pair I was going to put on my car is just massive. They are Scorpion tips, dual 76mm/3in and high quality T304 stainless steel.

It is two individual pipes so would suit BMW, Audi and Merc applications. Will also suit Skylines/180sx if anyone is running twin pipes, else a Y-adapter would have to be made. They cost $85 each, and I want to get back what I paid, $100 for the pair.

Email me if you are interested

  4. Would love to see how those holdens hold up in the JGTC500 or JGTC300... I imagine that a smoking would occur!

I was speaking with Ross Palmer at McPhillamy on Saturday night for over an hour. He said there is "good factory interest" from GT300 teams. GT500 cars are out of the rules, I think.

The Monaro's were built for Bathurst: pure and simple. The lambo won Nations Cup title, and despite the Monaro being within the rules, it wasn't good enough to win the championship. Only one track...

Also stay tuned for 2-4 M3 GTRs running in the 2004 Nations Cup championship, I thought the privateer team did extremely well considering the logistics involved, before Brock shunted Maher into the wall. Funnily, prior to the race Garry Rogers tried to get the M3 GTR banned!

    Bok bok bok bokkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk....

  5. Hi folks,

It's with a heavy heart I sell my baby: the a/d/s/ P850.2 Powerplate amplifier.

I purchased this amp about 2 months ago from a CAA member and only want back what I paid for it seeing as I didn't use it.

The previous owner used it sparingly (less than 30hours) and it is in excellent condition. The amplifier comes with original packaging and manual. The only reason I am selling is because I'm going to Tru Technology which is an upgrade in anyones language.

The retail on this amp was/is $2500. I am selling it for $875. If you want a single amp to power everything cleanly with quality in a low profile chassis, this is for you.

    Specs and pic below:

  6. Hi all,

I have two of these but I have bought a new sub, so I will only need one.

    20503741.MVC901F.JPG

Kicker KX400.1 monoblock, single channel subwoofer amplifier.

Let's face it: you're achin' for bass. And with Kicker's KX400.1, you'll get bass in spades! This Class D subwoofer amp pumps out 200 watts of pure Kicker power to help your sub send you to low-frequency paradise.

You can tune your bass with the built-in low-pass crossover (variable 50-200 Hz at 12 dB per octave) to best suit your vehicle's acoustics and your tastes. Subs also often waste energy trying to reproduce ultra-low frequencies (way out of the range of hearing) — that's why the KX400.1 is outfitted with a 25 Hz subsonic filter, which keeps those performance-robbing frequencies away.

For even more bass, you can dial in the KickBass boost for up to 18 dB of hard-hitting bass at 40 Hz. Kicker even includes a dash-mountable remote bass level control that makes on-the-fly adjustments a snap. If you'd like to add a KX400.1 to your system, but have a factory receiver with no preamp outputs, no problem: simply hook it up with the speaker-level inputs. For multi-amp system expansion, take advantage of the built-in preamp outputs to make installation easier.

    Key Features

    200 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms

    400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms

variable 50-200 Hz low-pass crossover, 12 dB per octave

25 Hz subsonic filter, 12 dB per octave

    efficient Class D amp design

0-18 dB KickBass bass boost at 40 Hz

amp can be strapped to another KX400.1 to power one 4-ohm subwoofer (800 watts total power)

    dash-mountable remote bass level control

    speaker- and preamp-level inputs

    preamp outputs

    frequency response 20-200 Hz

    4-way protection circuits

requires 4-gauge power and ground leads — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

    12-13/16"W x 2-9/16"H x 10-3/16"D (including removable shroud); 10-1/16"W x 2-5/16"H x 9-9/16"D (without shroud)

Comes with birthsheet, actual bench tested power is 470RMSx1@2ohm.

Heatsink has been custom painted in Chromalusion as seen in the pic, prior to painting looked like this:

    Just so everyone knows.

Although with all of the 55 dollar plans with optus last month happening, there will be a FLOOD of 7250's out there, listed as new in box.  I dont see any particular reason why this one should be anydifferent.

    Adrian

heheh Adrian all of Optus sold out of 7250s from that deal in about 2.5 weeks, as of today the plan has jumped to the Your Call 99 or 150 (can't remember). The new RRP of the 7250 is $929. You can no longer get a 7250 from Optus on a 55 without paying a surcharge ontop.

  8. Cavaet Emptor: buyer beware.

If someone is about to drop several hundred dollars and has the means to check if the phone is stolen FOR FREE AND EASILY ON THE WEB, they would do that and not just speculate "Oh yeah, this phone must be stolen..."

Interested parties should only voice those concerns via PM, where they can get the IMEI from the owner, check it out, and see in 5mins whether it is legitimate or not. It is almost common knowledge, don't assume people do not know about serial numbers on mobile phones and you are doing your public duty by putting doubt into prospective buyer's minds. Get off your horse, cavalier sir, leave the sale between the seller and the buyer.
