    So I get bored easily, and I dunno anyone local. Back home in Melb we used to have a little posse of SAU'ers, all around the same age and mentality... mostly students at Uni, with some regular sports cars. We meet up once a fortnight or week for a small cruise, grab some dinner, work on each others cars, go to the movies or play poker etc. Very social and nothing too car orientated, no attitudes and no egos.

    Anyways, me and a mate do this up here as well in Brissy, and there's buttloads of imports we see around, but not many seem active. we were thinking of trying to get more people into this little group... so... If you're local, post up, and I'll try and organise a little meet up that's local.

    Hmm I shall give them a call, Problem is it wont be insured for road use just yet so will need to trailer/tow it home.

    Wtf Did My R34 Do This Morning?

    Been driving a Falcon ute for work the last 2 weeks so used to the Ford style of tiptronic (tap forward to go a lower gear). So jumped in the R34 this morning and was doing about 50 in third when I tapped the gearbox back twice to go up to fourth - so it obviosuly changed down to first with a big jerk at about 60km/h...

    After I stopped cursing I discovered the car would now not change out of first in tiptronic mode, kept trying for about 200 metres, no luck, stuck it in D for about 200 metres and no luck either. So came to a complete stop in D and then took off and everything was normal.

    Is this a sign of autobox going or diff going? or did I just overheat the clutch packs or something?? I like to fix problems before they become bigger ones...car is running 200rwkw (for about 2 weeks now).

    its the save me from the dickhead mode ,all should be good again after stopping???

    ok. ive got a very good condition r34 rb25 5 speed for sale.

    i recently had it advertised for 2200 with a nismo gmax spec 2 twinplate clutch.(secondhand)

    i need to clear out my storage space urgently. so im asking 1800 with the clutch or 1500 without.

    the box has done aproximatly 30k. i bought it a while ago for use in my rb26 powerd dr30. ive since stripped the car and need to get rid of the box ASAP. cheeres
