  1. Just be cautious of them.

If you over tighten them you will strip the nut. They area soft alloy.

Also if you take your wheels off regularly re think buying these.

As the alloy is soft and everytime you tighten them up your stretching the thread in the nut.

( I used to work for a wheel and tyre store. Have seen what happens to these nuts on a regular basis.)

  2. Step 1: Take wheels off if Rays info sticker is not visible.

Step 2: Look in wheel for info sticker.

Step 3: If sticker isn't visible look in the hub of the rim. Some companies stamp the hub of the wheel.

Retail on these rims are about $700+ each. Plus freight.

ALthough I can only find the 57S Pro's on their site. So maybe your rims aren't made in that finsh anymore.

  3. would tail shaft be the same?

I would of thought the tail shaft woul dbe different.

    VG30De = too hard basket

As some one has stated above. It will cost more to put the VG in then it would a RB25. Custom everything for the VG. RB25 will go in with minor mods.

  4. They don't dodge them.

Having a few freinds that are police officers. They just drive right over them. Holden give them cars. Government pays to fix them. Police officers don't mind the pot holes.

  5. easiest way to explain offset is picture the rim. Now picture a line down the very middle of the rim. Now picture the hub of the rim being forward of that centre line. That is + offset. Picture that hub being behind the centre line. That's - offsett.

To answer your wuestion the Drift Teks you are looking at will be inside your guards. You will not have to modify your guards at all.

If that is all your budget can afford then go that option. Or save up some more and keep on looking.

PM me what your budget is and I will do some homework and see what I can find for you. I can get some JAP wheels fairly cheap or other wheels with decent offsets and widths for you.

  6. As stated.

    RB25 Turbo, with RB20 Actuator. RB25 actuators only run 6 or 7psi. RB20 run 10psi standard.

    FMIC would be ideal.

Full exhaust. Split front/ dump pipe.

    Remapped ECU.

GTR Fuel pump or I believe an Bosch 040 would be fine.

    Good working coilpacks.

Electronic boost controller if you want more boost.

I had all this on my old R32 4dr and I was making 190rwkw on i think it was 16psi boost.

I did those mods 4 yrs ago. I believe it is still going around with the same mods. So i must of done something right.

  7. Nope.

But you will find it can handle more dish as the NA 32 4dr's had shit house tiny brakes.

I'd upgrade brakes to the Type M items which are the R33 brakes.

Then if you had enough cash do the 5 stud hub conversion and then the world is your oyster.

    I had 17 x 8 +18 on the front and 17 x 9 +24 on my old 4dr.

But as nisskid has stated you can go wider and lower offsets.

  8. Buy something from SA.

Will only need to have the rego papers taken to Trans SA and do a change over with your name.

If you buy anything from another state all ( YES ALL) MODIFICATIONS will need to e taken back to stock to pass ID inspection. All Skylines/ Silvia's and some other Imports are now being targeted. They know most area's to hide items.

I was at regency last week with a customers 34 and the inspector wanted to know what was modified on it. Luckily it was a stock as a rock R34 4dr NA Auto. No one in there right mind would mod a shopping cart.

The inspector was up under the dash feeling for wires and other toys where other people have tried to hide alot of there turbo timers and other crap like that.

Buy a local car. No inspection needed.

Drive. Have fun and enjoy your new R34.
