Notice the condition of the standard seats and steering wheel.

Awesome mid range with plenty of 'area under the curve' but has great top end as well with 390kw and 130mph. Thanks to 2.7, well matched turbos and a decent tune. This makes for one quick street/track car. Add E85 and it would make another 30 or more kw.

  2. The interior is very tidy. It has new floor matts and new leather gear stick and hand brake boots. It has the original steering wheel and gear knob. Both are in good condition which suggests this car hasnt done many kilometers. Power FC handset normally lives in the center console. Mounted EBoost 2 and Autometer boost guage. The EBoost I find has excellent control over boost pressure. The original seats are in good condition with just general wear and tear. Aircon works very well.

  3. Car will be sold with these wheels. No parts will be separated.

Thankyou Beau .... appreciate your comments. I rarely take the car out hence why I have only done 2100km's since the engine build!

Here are a few more pictures. I really should do some better ones of the interior and engine bay. These don't really do it justice.

  4. Well it’s come time to sell my 1990 R32 GTR. I have owned this car for 7 years and I’ve put a lot of hard work and $$$$ into it. It currently has 129000 km’s on the Mines 320 speedo. I am a qualified automotive spray painter and I have given this car a full bare metal respray in Midnight Purple using very good quality products. This car certainly doesn’t have any rust and it is very straight and glossy.

2 years ago the car had a major mechanical overhaul. A completely new motor including a full Jun 2.7 stroker kit. The turbos, fuel system, clutch, intercooler and radiator were also replaced at the time the new motor was installed. The new motor has completed only 2100 kilometers since the build. I have only been able to do 3 events in that time being a trip to WSID (3 runs only) , a Marulan track day (wet track) and the wellington 1/8 mile drags.

All the engine and dyno work was completed by Jim at Dart Automotive in Sydney. The car has made 390 RWKW @25 psi on Dart’s Mainline dyno. This is on BP ultimate 98 fuel. I was not aiming for peak power with this engine build and I made that clear before Jim started. My interest was in response and mid range which is what I got. It drives great with a heap of torque. If anyone is interested I can post up the dyno sheet. It’s certainly not lacking in power either running 11.2 @ 130mph at WSID. I was only able to have 3 runs before it rained and I was getting faster each time. With 130mph it is easily capable of a mid to high 10.

This car is an excellent example in all areas. I really wish I was able to hang onto it but I just don’t have the time or money to make use of it. I recently got married and my priorities have changed.

I live in Bathurst. For serious buyers I am able to take the car to the blue mountains or Sydney so they can have a look and drive.

  5. Iam not sure of exact times of each car yet and dont want to get them wrong. Results should be up soon but you can look on natsoft. I was there supporting my brother in the blue IS200. He got 9th outright out of I think 114 cars with 22.04 and 264kmph. Also my mate in the burgundy supra. He got i think about 5th or 6th outright with 21.6 and 270.9. Both obviously very quick cars. I should have had my car there but my work couldnt guarantee me the time off until it was too late to get an entry spot. Soooo painful watching everyone else have a go!

  6. Awesome day. Thanks to those who made it possible. Because of the wet track I learnt a heap about the handling of my car and it was a whole lot of fun. It was the first time id had it on a circuit (appart from Canberra Texi back track about 3 years ago) and i was very surprised how well it handled such a wet track. Although I dont think my new found power assisted in any way! A very well run day and id certainly do it again with a wet or dry track.

  7. Is that pull done in 3rd gear? What is your rev limit set to? Afrs look good no unnessarry fuel used there.. I'm on sard 800's aswell made 450awkw rev limit 8600 power just starting to nose over at 8.4 on 98/toluene mix. My Afrs are a bit rich at 11.0 though. Engine efficiency would play role aswell..

Dyno pull done in 4th. Rev limit set at 8300. Very rarely need to rev over 6500 though to drive it quickly.

I dont have another picture of the graph just now but you can just see that the afr settles dead on 12.

  8. From my experience you will need to run bigger injectors then 700's to make 400kw+. When I was making 374 RWKW I ran 700cc Sards with a duty cycle of up to about 96. At the advice of my tuner (a reputable one)I upgraded to Sard 800's to allow for more headroom. This allowed me to run a bit more boost and make 390 RWKW. Now the dc gets to about 85. This is with a -5 2.7 setup. I wonder why the difference between my experience and some others in this thread? Is it just a difference in dyno readings? I know of others with similar results to mine.

  9. good work, its definately got a 10 in it with a good driver

Give us a chance! haha. I only got 3 runs the other night before it rained and it was called off. I was getting faster with each run. We were slowly dropping tyre pressures. Got an 11.21 @130 on the last run with a 1.78 60ft. As some of you know its not as easy once you get up around this power especially on street tyres. With my old motor it was just a case of giving it everything to reach its potential. But yea it is easily capable of a mid to high 10 with either some more practise on street tyres or a simple tyre change would get me there.

This is no drag set up though. If I wanted it to be faster over 400m I would have chose different turbos/turbo and made 500kw which this motor could easilly handle. I chose the -5's for response on the street and for hill climbs and the circuit etc. I like corners.

Oh and the 390kw is RWKW not AWKW Marko. I dont think that makes a lot of difference but lets not start that debate again haha.

    Tim.
