R32 Zilla

This turbo looks just like mine which is a HKS GT 2535. It fits on the standard rb20/25 manifold which has a t3 flange. Look for the ID plate. Tim.

Would anyone be able to tell me if stock r32 gtst wheels (16x6.5) will fit up to a r32 gtr ? would the offsett be a problem? I know that stock gtr wheels measure 16x8. Thanks Tim.

Yeah i no what you mean, i think we all try to compare dyno figures from different dynos to much. The only way to compare is put all cars on the same dyno on the same day. I may live in Tamworth but all my tunning and dyno runs are done in sydney. Tim.

207 rwkw on 12 psi !!! using a 2530 .... I dont think so ....... Either the dyno you are using reads way high or there is something wrong with your boost guage. Iam running a hks 2535 with all the support systems needed, running 19 psi and i make 206 rwkw which is about 10 rwkw down on where i think it should be. Iam in the process now of finding that extra power. Tim.

what boost are you running ? You may have to run a smaller gap. I have to run .5 to run 19 psi. Tim.

Yes it will bolt straight up. My 2535 has a .60 comp housing and a .64 exhaust housing

I would say ABOUT $4500 to $6000 to do a full colour change in good quality 2k pearl paint. But depends largly on the amount of panel beating that needs to be done. Definatley 6000 if there are a few dints and you want all the car paint stripped. For an average job (still using good quality paint) and not a full colour change, you would be looking at ABOUT $2500 to $4000. Tim.

To put it simply.... acrylic is only mixed with thinners and has no hardner. It needs to be buffed to get any sort of gloss out of it, fades easily and generally doesnt last as long as 2k. 2k colour is normally mixed at a 2.1 ratio that is 2 parts paint and 1 part hardner and about 10% thinner if needed.You get instant gloss and it lasts along time. Yes the paint used was 2pac Spies Hecker. You would not bother painting any half decent street car in anything else but 2 pac. Paint is not cheap and you get what you pay for. Tim.

Checked my psi at rpm figures today, they are 10psi at 3700 rpm 18 psi at 4400 rpm All done in in 3rd gear. Tim.

I run a genuine HKS GT 2535 on my r32 rb20. At a recent dyno day it made 206 rwkw at 19psi which is about 5 to 10 down on what i think it should make. The dyno used has a name for running slightly lower figures than most in sydney. comp housing is .60 exhaust housing is .64 using matching split dump pipe 10 psi at 4000rpm (ABOUT) have to check tomorrow 19 psi at 4500rpm (ABOUT) have to check tomorrow A bit laggy but great fun ! aZn_RoMeO..... I have 6 years experience with 4 years as an apprentice and 2 as a tradsman. I would have to aggree totally with GTST. Preparation is VERY important and can be VERY difficult to get right. The guy you get to put the paint on may do a really good job but if the car has not been preped just as good than it is a waste of time and it would decrease the value of your skyline. Save your money and get a pro to do it and if you are really keen to have a go than buy an old cheap car and have a go. As for the extra primer and paint changing the lines of the car, this wont happen if the car is blocked down properly. Most of the primer you put on is blocked of again before colour is applied. Doglet..... yes all the door shuts, boot jam ect. "were edged out"meaning coloured in the same blue. The only thing i didnt edge out was the engine bay but i did do the front guard edges, the top of the radiator support pannel and under the bonnet. I hope to have a better finished picture of my car soon so i will post it up. Tim.

Yes i have been a spray painter for 6 years and i would love to answer any questions you have. My skyline was originaly grey and it is now a custom blue pearl colour and i could show you if only the attachment would work. It says the file is to large (553kb) how do i make it smaller ? Tim.

If anyone is interested in attending a well orginised dyno day then the toyota club toymods is having one this sunday the 6th of july. It will be held at Premier Auto centre, 20 sunblest cres. Mt Druitt. The day is not limmited to toyotas, the last time i went there were over 50 cars and about 10 of those were nissans. It is a 4wd dyno $35 to enter starts at 8am Hope to see you there ! Yes they do make 225/50/16 as it is this size that my boss uses on his vn comodore race car. I know you guys are talking about circuit racing but how would these tyres go for drag racing? With 200rwkw in an r32 using 245/40/18s with about 50 % tread iam having big traction problems and cannot get my times down to where they should be. My plan is for when i go to the creek in about a month to fit 2 540s (used ones from the race car) to my stock rims to go on the back using about 20 psi in them. Will this improve my launches ect.... ???
