  1. Hi Guys,

    Have a RB26 Head for sale I was going to use in my build which is no longer going ahead, it came from Japan and is fairly heavily modified. It is used but has been checked by my machine shop (vac/pressure/hardness/crack tested) and passed. I also had it skimmed and it has been wrapped in bubble wrap ready to be bolted to a bottom end. It has cams fitted and is complete, no covers.

    HKS Step II 280 Cams with 10.25mm Lift (head recessed to fit)

    1mm OS Intake Valves

    Tomei bronze valve guides

    HKS single valve springs

    HKS retainers

    Rear oil drain fitting

  2. Hi Guys,

    I am looking at selling my brand new HKS 2.8 Step 3 crankshaft this is a very rare item that has been discontinued by HKS, it is a full billet full counter crankshaft designed to handle well over a 1000hp. These crankshafts alone were worth over $12,000 new and have been discontinued for a few years now.

    Item is brand new (never been used).

    Reason for sale is I am looking at going a different direction with my car (rb3.2) and am considering selling this crankshaft

    I also have a set of brand new Carrillo pro h beam rods in box that are custom to suit this HKS crankshaft that I will include in the price.

    I am happy to post local and internationally at buyers expense, or pickup from Brisbane if you prefer.

    Has anyone used these turbos at all, potentially looking at putting one on my 2.8 RB in my GT-R, anyone got any feedback, dyno graphs etc.

    How do they compare to the Precision 7175 & 7675 GT42 Style, have people found them to be simialr or lot laggier or more responsive. Had a 6766 and want to go the next size up but want a good idea at how much laggier it will be ie full boost at 6000rpm, 5500rpm or 5000rpm etc? (I know it's not going to be 100% due to a lot of variables on the build but someone elses results will help give me an idea)

    Fuel will be E85, running between 28-34psi

    I'm looking for 600-650awkw (800-850awhp) and application is street/drag.

    Looking for a turbo myself for my GT-R am building a 2.8 stroker with a modified head to suit. I read all 95 pages in order to find out what the EFR range is all about and get some results specifically around the 9180 but to be honest didn't find much if you could help by answering a few of my questions I'd apprecaite it. I am looking to make around 600awkw (800awhp) the car will be running on E85 and my preference is to not run more than 30-34psi to achieve this power. Application is street/drag.

    1. Is this power achievable on any of the EFR range and if the 9180 will do it would this be its absolute maximum?

    2. On a built motor I know there are a lot of factors but when would you expect full boost with a 9180, would we be saying 6000rpm, 5500rpm or before 5000rpm?

    3. Are there still supply issues with the 9180 or if I order one I can get one in a few weeks maximum?

    4. I understand the 9180 is a 67mm wheel so like the 6766, but what would you say it would be more similar to GTX42 or GTX4088 / Precision 6766 or the larger frame 7175 (or would it do the same power as a GTX42 but on the smaller frame)

    5. Would love any real examples that are on a GT-R ie what power at what boost using what fuel and when full boost is achieved.

    6. Is it all just hype to have 95 pages with less than 10 solid results, actually I could barely even find 1 or 2 GTR's with 9180 results or has it just been supply issues, or reliability? Are these turbos that much better or are they essentially the same as what garrett and precision offer maybe 5% better if that?

    I'd be looking to run a 9180 with exteral wastegate, twin scroll with the 1.05 rear housing, also anyone got a picture of a 9180 that isnt internally wastgated, or do they all look ugly with all the stuff taking away from the presence of the front housing?
