    Oh shite... She will kick your butt... It is RED, not maroon... Only ever seen 2 of the red colour. Factory beautiful colour, very rare.

    Followed a V35 last night from about Toowong to West Chermside/Aspley on Appleby Road/Webster Road...nice to follow in the rain, no stuffing about, unlike most other tards when it rains :blush:

    i got this programme and used iton a r33 im i nthe process of buying... apparently the 2 door manual is actually a 4dr auto??? the caryard guarantees it is all genuine though? is it possible that the vin was swapped back in japan and once here the compliancers had no idea? or is it more likely something dodgy has happened while in aus.

    It could be a simple case of transposing a number when you ran the VIN through FAST. Post it up or try it again for yourself just to double check.

    That number looks like the Australian compliance number. Look for the number on the blue Japanese plate in your engine bay.

    This sounds awesome. Will the system work for an S14? Obviously its an ADM model but i'm guessing this data will be there as well yeah?

    R33's built in 1998 would be the 40th anniversary skylines and as such should have special badging, and interior touches. When production ceased on the R33's I am not sure, however the number I checked for you had a build date of June 1997 (according to FAST). FAST is only as accurate as the information entered into it at the time.

    I do not think this is a v-spec. The codes point to being a GTR only. Besides the build date is in 1994, v-spec II was being made then, not v-spec.

    The model number is KBNR32RXFS7AA, which I'll describe below (as best I can):

    K = hard top (ie coupe)

    B = RB26DETT

    N = 4WD

    R32 = R32

    R = 2 door

    X = GTR

    F = 5 speed

    S = intercooler turbo

    7 = 16 inch tyre (if it were a v-spec II it would have '8' here, which would indicate the 17 inch BBS wheels which came on a v-spec II)

    AA = other options which I'm not sure of as these are listed in kanji.

    Hope this helps you out anyway.

    I cant get that options thing up like SMR33 either (different version maybe? fast 3.5, 2001/10 cd;s)

    The options screen I posted previously is for a 34 (similar screen for 33). The screens containing options for a 32 are much more long winded (ie 27 pages worth) and its pretty much all in japanese (including a lot in kanji).

    Can anyone point me in the right direction for the what the digits 14-18 of the model code mean?

    15 = rear wiper

    16 = rear strut bar + boot lid trim + GTS25t type

    17 = skyline sound system

    18 = airbag option + ABS
