  1. FEID S5 16x7JJ rims and tyres.

    $450 ono

I think rims made by Bridgestone.

Offset 35mm, ran on an R33 Skyline without spacers. Good fit.

They are multifit, not sure what the other size is but it is 5 stud and smaller than Skyline.

Almost new only manufactured in Jan 2005.

Come with 205/55R16 Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-03 tyres. About 50% tread.

These are snow tyres, I actually drove my R33 to the snow and these tyres were fantastic, no chains required.

Unfortunately they are the worst tyres I have ever driven on in normal conditions. They are too soft and the tread blocks too big, the tread walks around something shocking.

However I am not a drifter but with a std GTS-T and these tyres I was a drift hero. Turn on some lock and commence wheel spin and you were out there for as pretty much long as you wanted.

All 4 rims in excellent condition without gutter rash.

Funny the same wheel and tyre package is here, do you read Japanese?

Note: My wheels do not have the centre cover but they do have NUTS!

  3. Does any one have a wiring diagram for a SII r33?

The 4 pin plug coming out of the steering column only has three wires. All I need to do is to find out what these are and plum them into the new wheel.

The airbag plug is coming out of the steering column, so I can use that and ignore the airbag plug from the steering wheel. It wont even be connected.

So the 3 wires that plug into the wheel are??

    1) Horn wire ??

    2) Earth ??

    3) ??

    Anyone please

  4. I bought an R33 steering wheel from ebay a while ago.

When I received it I was a bit sus as it was a molded plastic rather than leather but other than that it looked exactly the same.

I only fitted it on the weekend. It bolted up ok but when I went to plug in the wires I hit some problems.

Coming out of the top of my 1996 SII R33 gtst steering colum are 2 plugs. One goes into the airbag and the other plugs into the wheel (forget where) but it is a 4 pin plug (with only 3 wires).

The unknown steering wheel has one 5 pin plug as input but then it has a plug for the airbag as well.

So my problem is that the 4 pin plug out of the steering column will not plug into the 5 pin plug on the wheel. I have 2 airbag pugs one from the column and one from the wheel.

I am sure it could be made to work if I had both wiring diagrams.

Does anyone know what this unknown wheel might be from?

    Help appreciated

    Cheers Darren

  5. no, I have checked the dials looked ok.

    I have bought the car.

I needed to fit a standard exhaust for legal issues, funny after I did that I left it idling for a while then took it for a spin.

The miss was still there but not as bad, I managed to see 6000 on the tacho, it would have redlined but I was being gentle.

Its either fixing itself - I put some octane boost / cleaner in it or its an intermiten electrical issue.

Unless putting a std ehaust on has reduced boost and therefore decreased fuel its requiring and it can pretty much now keep up. Maybe a sensor is playing up. Not likely.. still thinking electrical.

    Sorry thinking a loud.

    I wll keep playing.....

the numbers dont have to be lifting. if it has reverse EL dials they are too thick to begin with, and will make the needle stick. they will look normal, but they're too think as soon as they are put in

  6. Hi to all knowledgeable Skyline punters.

I test drove an r33 gts-t s2 (manual) today that I am thinking about buying.

When I drove it, it had a miss that developed over 3000 rpm, I am pretty sure it happened only under load. The weird thing was that the tacho would got to 3000 - 3500 start missing and even though the car was still accelerating and picking up revs the tacho didnt rise with the revs and at one stage it looked like it went backwards!

I am pretty new to Skylines but I am thinking its an issue like plugs, leads or coil pack or the like.

Anyone have experience or thoughts on this issue?

    Help appreciated

    Darren
