Car was bone stock (aside from a cat-back exhaust & the spoiler) when I bought it in 2009 – 140,000kms – all mods done by me
Have receipts for most of the many thousands of dollars I’ve spent on the car.
Always kept in a garage, cleaned regularly and loved

Sean is the man, I'm sure you'll be very happy. Hope to see this beast on the mean streets of GC sometime Looks great
-
How come Meisters come with holes in the back for spacers and my CR Kai's don't?
Hurry up and get them on, they'll look killer.

*looks for zinc bath to drive my r33 into*

I've read that the low temp thermostats are no good and just to stick with the normal Nissan one because the low temp one causes your fuel to not atomise correctly and runs more inefficiently. E85 keeps an engine cooler anyway so I would want your engine running too cool. Have you been having overheating issues?
-
If it was an E85 only tune i reckon it may have been a bad day! Assuming it run.... Being setup full flex made it so the car could run but it could have been E10 fuel, or 100 octane stuff, i have no idea.... I just got a call from United and they will have the answers on Wednesday, i must admit they have been pretty good to deal with in general, very pro-active which is a pleasant change for most large companies!
Good to hear they're working on it. I'd be stranded if that happened to me, no flex setup I put my faith in Caltex and hope for the best lol
-
If you didn't have the e-sensor would you have noticed the ethanol content? IE running super rich behaviour/sooty?
-
IIRC cushioned button is more street oriented, and button is more track oriented. The cushioned button has a slightly more gradual takeup and is more user friendly for day to day driving.
-
I got a pair of Nitto Invo's from Taleb and they were great to deal with on the phone. $500 plus delivery from memory, so the price was good too for sticky tyres.
-
Yep I think 10.99 and they make you go home and think about what you've done.
And get an cams license or something...
What mods does an r35 require to reach a 10?
-
Awesome choice of wheels Jez. Got a photo with them on? I reckon it will transform the look of your car totally and the dish will suit the black-on-black theme you've got going...
-
Your r33 remains one of my favourites along with that blags dude Granthem
-
You should definitely get your logo onto the compressor housing to get the word out about your work Stao.
Great job as usual.
-
If by "that v8" you mean the ss, that was my friend's car. Very lumpy idle, such a cool and fast car. I'll bet he would have thought your car was cool Natro (and the v8 r34)!
It looked like a fantastic day out, and I would have loved to be there too, but I'm up in Brisbane with my wife in hospital giving birth to our twins!
I'm sure I'll be at a future meet to put some names to faces though!
-
Can non skylines come along on this one?
-
Why aren't you just using a Nissan plenum gasket?
-
Lol of all the reasons...
I hate getting a slow puncture, that ruined my kumhos and forced me to change early.
-
And why is that?? I'd have thought you'd have put thousands of kms on it!!
-
This sounds like fun, I'm hoping I can come along to this one if my Sunday stays free.
-
That or a Nissan museum surely...

Thanks for the info Terry, I gathered it was due to something that you could only get via a quality importer's trade knowledge vs Aus delivered.
Without wanting to be rude and ask it's value, would you say that importing vs the local market is still reasonably in the same ballpark or does the higher standard of car just demand more money (I could understand if this was the case).
Cheers,
Nick
