  1. There are quite a few good ones in kyoto, Arashiyama has an ok garden in the temple area the bamboo forest is there too, there are a few nice restaurants that have good gardens can t think of the name at the moment but can look it up if you like, you may have trouble finding it depending on your japanese but the one im thinking of has a great 6 or 7 coarse meal degestation type stuff but japanese food of coarse. If you go to Himeji castle in Hyogo there is a really good garden next door, slightly to the south, its famous for something but I cant remember. Himeji is well worth a visit and will probably take 1.5-2 hours from JR Kyoto station, on the Kobe Line, stop in Kobe too! go to the earthquake (Hanshin-daishin) memorial exhibition.

  2. my stagea is great ! no rattles, groans or squeaks

keeps up with any car in the traffic light gran`prix

    (tuning again today!)

fuel bill is no different to an aussie V8 (had a VR bt1 to compare it with) if properly tuned, by that I mean piggybacks and ecu chip mod (S1, from sau member Toshi)

S1 rb25 is my choice, auto awd is perfect for the road

(bare in mind my S1 is fully mod'd, 18k car 3yrs ago plus 14k mods)

you can pick up S1 from 9k to 12k for a decent one, for 15k itd have to be realy nice. I doubt Id even get 16k for mine even with the huge list of modified parts

I seem to get pretty good fuel economy from my s2 manual compared to the autos.

  3. sweet guys thanks for the help... didn't know about the o2 sensor being only for highway driving... i mainly do city driving do this tells me that the o2 sensor may not be the problem. Am i right in assuming this? You guys reckon just give it a sweet service and change plugs and clean air flow meter and this should improve it somewhat?

Its a quick and easy start to eliminate possible causes, if problems persist, see your doctor

  4. Hi momo

Just wanted to let you know that Shell V-Power is a 98 RON performance fuel that does not contain ethanol.

If you're interested in finding out more about Shell V-Power visit: http://www.shell.com/home/Framework?siteId...troduction.html

    Cheers

    Adam

When I first looked up the shell website some time ago, they stated that vpower was 10% ethanol and vpower racing 5%. I was prepared to overlook the 5% for the 100RON. there no longer seems to be any information on the ethanol content on their site. only an interesting disclaimer about how ethanol, despite popular belief, is not bad for your engine. previously the vpower/ethanol blurb had a warning that it may not be suitable for some cars. This was streight from their website sio who knows what the deal is now, tehy could have changed the formula? . I'll stick to optimax anyhow.

  5. Went to my local shell to fill up last night, one of the only ones around to have v power raacing and it was... gone! I hadnt seen this thread and was very pissed. Despite cost, I had better economy and a little power, though my car has not been tuned to it, it was by far the best choice.

Back to ultimate i guess, F#$@ their v power with 10% ethanol.

  6. My two cents, I think maybe youve missed the boat this year, the contact tenders with the BofEs will be sown up by arseholes like siad company by now, but its still worth looking around, the jobs advertised at the mo are highly likely to be replacement positions for teachers droping there contracts, A company I worked for at one point lost there local city contract where I was because they had a huge teacher turn over and ended up unable to fill the positions they'd tendered for! thats where it would be good to get in direct as they would be getting desperate. My situation was I worked for the contracting company then was asked to stay on by the teachers who were going to approach the board for a direct contract but I'd had enough of being a meat puppet by that stage. As far as interac goes I only heard the same as everyone else, But couldnt be too bad to tide you over? I have no first hand experience with them.

The best thing to do would be to aproach private schools, they often employ direct, tend to do things on a whim, ie alot less rigid burocracy to deal with, give you a degree of autonomy in the classroom, better pay and full pay holidays. Thats where Id be looking. especially if you have some good experience to back you up.
