  1. guys start sim ple and go fro there....

    check for oil leeks.... seriously... if you start to get crap loads of heat and 4th starts aswell and 4tgh only gets worse...bingo.....

    only at high revs..... for 5th.... lacking oil or syncros....

    oil is cheaper and gets worse quicker...but not overly quick...depending on leek.

  2. on the money,

    depending on how bent they are you would probably want to check.

    you might have crap loads of meat on the pads or you might not, either way to get rid of hte noise you are going to have to get at the pads anyways to check.

    its a piece of piss to pull the bloody pads out and bend the indicators to where they should be if you have heaps of meat left (keeping in mind evenish wear etc).

    I can tell you I've had this problem a couple of times with my rather dust inducing ultimates. half way through life theres always a pad that nneeds the guide to be bent.. just got bent in somewhere along the way and i forgot to check and bend to the appropriate spot.. no biggy. take the half hr to check all 4.. re-bleed brakes for some good pedal feel and top up the resevoir... walla...

    so simple i could train a monkey to do it >:wave:

  3. Im a driving enthusiast... I enjoy the drive more in certain types of cars as compared to others. I would enjoy that experience in many vehicles regardless of badge... The better the performance of the vehicle.... handling...accel..decel the more I find I enjoy that experience. The r35 would garner some sweaty palms, a hard on and a smirk that would make a hoore blush..... but the means I have are restricted so i drive a 33t... I still get plenty of enjoyment out of it... I think it's pretty in a too long kind of way but get her out an screaming ... you know what im talking about..

    we should start a petition for our own nordeshliefe! SERIOUSLY!

    im 6ft flat an I wear 13's... small feet ?

    ps you can "heel - toe" just use the 3/4 role with a bit more heel an toe the brake.... where you need the sensitivety.....

    I can do it in my 33 but I do have a replacement throttle pedal... this may make a difference as its much thinner.

  5. I tryed to change it to my work addy, it never came, I checked. might still be on my ol addy which is like 2-3 years old from a job I worked as a techy for a year.

    I grep'd for anything @s* an droped to a text file... believe me there was nothing there remotely like sau unless it would have came through another... it would be a piece of piss to run through the archives looking for something if you have the domain name the message would have been sent from. ^^ header details or something

    either way I messed up... help the dreamer

  6. I wrote an email to somebody about but i cant remember who or what.

    anyway moral to the story I went through my user profile to change my sig but stuff got 'lost' and messed it up. I don't know what I clicked through now it was a little while ago. Doesn't matter anyway my user can login but doesnt have permissions to post anything, topic reply etc cant view pics as has no permission. It is waiting for validation for something. specifies this next the the " My Controls" link in the "top bar". Was my fault for clicking through i went looking through a bunch of stuff an it asked me to login so I put in my details again etc and kept going so meh.

    the idea was i updated the profle with some details :

  7. my ol torry used to have the "hand" brake left side next to the main brake with a switch left of the console you had to "twist and pull"

    of coarse the car started as a column shift auto, became a t-bar auto then a 4 sp manual. ahhhh the ol steel thing was great... doors 4" thick.. choice wood grain coloir plastics with the lino covered foam infils.. pure class

    did burnouts well though with its leaf springs. major braking upgrade went from rear drums to 4 wheel disks .. awsome.

    that thing chewed more blocks then any other car I've ever owned to this day.. it was the variable capacity car.. it had as much capacity as I could afford at the next time I blew something...

  8. gave it 1 jump start per normal procedure from the front... starts without a dream.. everytime too.

    wierd. zif it didnt have enough power but is not charging again... bugger

    close please.. il post again when the gremlin does something else

  9. disable immobiliser per normal, get power all settings normal up to on reds, all warning lights up as normal on startup. stereo comes on, clock etc.. all elec's. turn key to full past reds to kick over with starter motor and the elecs quickly on/off till release of key back to reds.

    makes me think the starter motor is earthing out. what does this sound like to you ? For all I know with all the electrics in this car could just need to hit the any key or could be some other circuits crossing... any hints where to look to find this issue ? anyone come across this before ?
