[R33 S2 Abs Not Working]

Hi guys thanks for all ur help. I took the car to the mechanic and they had a look and said that my car is not fitted with ABS. well from now on I will have to do the manual ABS haha.. ohh well what to do … looks like even if it’s a late 95 model ABS is optional. It it seams like putting one in cost way too much.

ABS is the unit what you will usually find on the passenger side when u lifts up the hood you can see something a lil box sota unit with heaps of metal pips coming out of .. thatz the ABS unit.

Hmm nice topic … well I think its all to do with the alarm that you got. May be its better if you ask someone who know about installing them. When you get it fixed plz let me know.. Guys I think it’s a good idea if we postpone this event to another day. It not much fun going a cruise like this in the rain.

Also there many people who can’t make it tomorrow. So I guess it’s better if we all get to go on a nice Sunny day. It not becoz that we are frightened of the rain, or that we don’t have wipers or roof on the car. Personally I love driving in the rain, but I like to go fast when it rains and this is a cruise what we are going on. And Alien had organized filming equipment it’s not gonna look very nice if we all stay in our cars and not get out or more like cant becoz of the rain.

So personally I think its better if we can all come up with another day and also if possible of a new destination where we don’t have to drive for more than 2-3 hrs one way. What does everyone else think about this? Please post ur comments so that we all know and may be Alien can come up with something else.

Alien can you please re-confirm that tomorrow 5th August 2006 cruise is Canceled ? also if you can please may be drop in an email to everyone if you have time so that they all know about it and won’t show up tomorrow.

Since everybody has agreed on Bathurst, as much as I would like to lead the cruise, I can't take that responsiibility as I don't know the way (Bathurst wasnt my idea). If somebody can lead the way there, that would be great. This would also include leading from Homebush P6 to Richmond and then all the way to Bathurst. Show of hands any1?

Well I really think it’s a very long drive. I guess everyone likes to go to Bathurst. I think what we need is a GPS and then program it with all the locations. I can do this with my PAD with using TomTom Software.

Will see how things turn up. We still have sometime left. Well hope everything will go well and as planned. Dude thanks for this and keep us updated.

guys I'm up for a cruise but to come to think of it, its probly too far to go out to Bathurst!!!!!!! 3 - 3.5 hours of driving will tire us all out and takes too long. If majority is still up for it, we'll do it but I'll look into other destinations closer to Sydney =)

Hey guys I think it’s a bit of a long drive. I don’t mind a 1 or 2 hr drive.

Only coz me and my mates drive to Gosford every Friday night and come back around 6am so need some sleep and then again most of us go out on Saturday night so I think its better if we can all come up with a few more places, like ones which we don’t have to drive for more than 2hr to 2.5hrs. Anywayz let see how things go. I am still in for it.

[How To Replace The Car Stereo Antenna]

find a mast and replace teh mast only. remove the antenna assy then dismantle it , remove the rope , pull out the broken mast and then put it back together. refit and reconnect. turn radio on wait for motor to go all the way up and insert new mast. turn radio off. then guide mast into place. done.

if you are unsure post up pics of the antenna assy and I'll walk you through it.

Thanks mate… I will take some pics and post them. I am still having difficulties getting to the antenna to remove it. its very hard to put the hand in there … not enough room. May be there is another way you know. I will take pic so that you know what I am talking about. Thanks again for you help.

How to replace the car stereo Antenna

Hi guys I have a R33 series II and the antenna is broken. It wont go up at all I think It was broken when It was up. ( it was like this when I got the car) anyways when you turn the stereo ON/OFF I can hear some sotta noise like when you get when the antenna go up or down. I want to remove the antenna and put a new one in. I don’t know how to remove it I tried few times but couldn’t.

Have anyone done this before? Have you guys replaced the antenna before? If so can you please help me out and tell me how to do this. I would really like you hear the radio once in awhile. miss the radio. If you can put some pic of how to do this it would be so good.

I will appreciate all you replies and help.

Which I think is very true… I have been driving for the past 12 years, I started when I was 15. I have come across so many bad drivers in my life.. I mean I get them everyday on the road when I go to work and back. Some of them are just so dame hopeless and I really wonder how heck did they get the license and who the F*** pass them.

These people can do so much damage to others and them self all the time. I know its bad to say that they shouldn’t be driving … but it just pisses me off so much sometime which I feel like getting out and kick their A**.

I know I did the wrong thing by having my mate in the car and speeding. And also I know if something go wrong its bye bye baby… but I guess I took my chance. Once again I really don’t know what to say about the above topic coz we all love to speed and push our cars to the MAX to see how well we could do. Otherwise why would we all go and bye sport cars and put turbo’s and do all the MODS? Why ? so that we could all spend so much money on them and just drive it @ 60 km/h ? I don’t think so.

So I think everyone whos out there telling that dude off .. I would say u all have done it.. I mean speed. So you should all know how good it feels when you push you car to the limit. So think again and u might change your mind. I know it’s a big risk and we can all get others kills sometimes. But if someone is meant to die he/she will die anyhow when the time comes. But I would say if had no reason to speed then DON’T. but if you have some competition then I guess go 4 it and take a chance. I mean thatz life … u have to take a chance … but dude if u just did 116 Km/h on 60 just for nothing, dude … I just don’t know….

Well that’s what I have to say and once again its just what I think and that just my opinion. Anyways take care everyone and always think again. Well safe speeding even if there is no such thing as that.

I need to program it up to get the best possible performance from it so dose anyone know what settings to use for a Skyline R33 GTS-t

So I am thinking some of you guys out there must be having the same unit that I have and may be played around with it more than I have.

So can anyone please tell me what setting should be used, and if you know any good links for website which would have setting for this.
