I would have bought this car but you wouldn't reply to my messages....
-
Is it the Gunmetal Grey 1994 model, 64,000 km?
If so....... It looks good.
Bob.
That's the one. Pretty damn excited..

Feel free to close thread mods.
Car I found is grade 4, 60,000kms with full service history. Car seems to be in great condition according to the pictures.
Now the long wait begins....

Buy this one instead.
http://www.global-auto.ne.jp/stock/public_stock_detail.php?entry=0164.dat&model=BNR32
This car came through at the auctions probably 1 month ago now. Sold for what would have been around 50k aud delivered from memory.
Iron chef found a car for me. The purchase is not complete so don't want to say too much just yet.
Thanks to all those who were on the lookout

One for sale on there now... 94 model with 10,000kms apparently, white in colour and he's asking 50k
Thanks for being on the look out ?
I've messaged the guy. Not a great description of the car. Hopefully I can get some pictures today.

I've been checking carsales everyday without any luck.
Still looking guys, if something pops up or you know of anyone, let me know... PM me if you must.
Thanks!

I'm beginning to consider cars outside my original specs simply because the ideal car isn't coming up.
Id consider my budget fairly healthy at around 40-45 imported.
So far I've missed a few grade 4/4.5 that were a little closer to 50k delivered. I'm putting those misses down to the fact that all of those cars had around/under 20,000 kms.
My quest continues....

There's a guy in WA on FB/gumtree who reckons his is pretty nice... Price is pretty "nice" too. lol.

I've seen that one, not a big fan. Too many bits and pieces I'd remove and its boosted...
-
so you're looking for a pretty stock example with not much done to it?
I sure am.
-
I'm in the process of trying to find one. I have Troy from Iron Chef looking in Japan. Its been a couple of months now with barely any luck.
I've been looking for a 4.5 with less than 60k and have a fairly decent budget but am getting 1 car a week, if that, and most seem to have really low km (under 20k) and seem to exceed my budget.
I have only considered one car in Aus and that was the gunmetal nismo edition that sold a few weeks.
I'm too impatient for this... I guess the search continues
Oh and if anyone is thinking of selling, please let me know.

I'm still looking if anyone has one. Budget is car dependant.
-
I do have one imported, auction grade 3.5 (which is hard to find) and still getting complied.. Before selling I may drive it for few times and sell.. Also got the customised plate "EBNR-32" which is the model number for R32 and hope to sell with the car for the right price...
Cheers man. I'm actually looking for a grade 4 minimum, ideally I'd like a 4.5. Not looking at having to spend money to get it to the standard I want.

Still on the hunt...

Hey,
1989 R32 GTR Concours Condn. Up 4 Sale Soon - On Red Plates.
I am planning to put mine up for sale + RWC. Gunmetal grey.
I am 66 - never really drove it. Never much did.
Runs perfectly of course.
Of course, it has been kept in perfect condition. Low kms - seems original.
Near original car. Tian shocks, Nolathane bushes - rechipped by Dr. Drift to 227 kw - I wanted to maintain good fuel economy.
Dr. Drift (Melbourne) can give a reference - "one of the best left".
Perfect interior, original Japanese windscreen, GTR wheels; naturally no rust.
I spent one year searching - the 3rd Skyline I bought.
Had this one for about 5 years.
Regularly serviced, fluids replaced regardless. I use premium syn. oil and Nissan orig. oil filters.
I have been planning to sell it for the last several months - just gathers dust and I wash it.
Occasional drives.
I believe I am the 3rd owner in Australia.
Regards ... Les
How many kms?
Keen to get some pictures Les... and maybe your contact details.
Cheers
-
I'd love to, but I just don't think the owner would be happy with my offer...
-
What's your budget
Depends on the quality of the car and specs. Normal GTR vs V-spec etc. Dont particularly want to spend more than 35-40k but in saying that I may spend up to 50k for the right car.
-
I would really like a good one. Not sure if you're ready to sell?
Anyone else?
-
And the fact that it's done 16,500 kms....... I've inspected the car and the mileage is genuine.
Bob.
I have no doubt the car is amazing... but a bit too pricey for me.
The market is slow, even in Japan. I guess I'll just have to keep waiting
-
I've seen that one, unfortunately it is out of my budget.... its seems the owner has a premium on it due to it being a Nismo edition.
-
Thanks guys. I have been on the look out for quiet a while and recognise the current market value.
-
I'm looking for a very clean example of an R32 GTR. I am in contact with import agents in Japan but am also looking within Australia to potentially save time/money.
The car needs to be as standard as possible (interior/exterior) and the lower the kms the better.
I am willing to travel interstate if you have the right vehicle. I am located in Melbourne.
Thanks for your help!
