  1. Thanks for that. I decided to just bite the bullet, use a test light and a sewing pin and that gave me the best results. If anyone else would like assistance with this, PM me and I will try to help you out as best I can.
  2. Hi again... I have figured out how to get to the wires and how to get them through the door and the a-pillar. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who can give me advice on which wires off the door switch do I connect the module to? I have attempted to use a test light and multimeter to get voltage from which wire does which, but the tests have been inconclusive and giving me mixed signals. So, if there is anyone who could give me the advice, or tell me how to do it, that would be very much appreciated. Cheers heaps.
  3. Hi There... Do you happen to know which wires to pick up from the switches?
  4. I would suggest attempting to cover as much of the boot as you possibly can. And depending on how much bass you want to have in your boot, would determine how many layers of the stuff you want to put in. In my car, the final plan is to have 2 X 12's and 2 X 10's, somehow fitting in the boot, so I have gone with 2-3 layers all round. Yes I know, may be a little bit of overkill, but the vibrations will stop and the sound quality will be much more improved. Also, if money is a problem, try searching for the stuff on E-Bay, or even google this product "B-QUIET". There is a website you can go to and buy it online, I just can't remember it off the top of my head. The products are much cheaper, buying it from the US, however it's the freight cost that will kill you. Check that out and see how you go.
  5. Hi mate... You need to cover as much area as you possibly can with the dynamat. You might want to think about covering both sides of the boot, the fuel cap, the side panels under the rear windows, behind the back seat and depending on how much bass you want to run, you might want to think about sticking some of that dynamat on the back of your number plate. I wouldn't bother too much with the boot floor, it is already covered with sound deadener (or it should be). And if you have done the top of your parcel shelf, don't bother about doing the bottom, that's a little over kill. I hope this helps you out.
  6. You don't want to remove the factory temp sender. It will wreak havoc with the ECU. The only way to do it is to have the adapter made up. I had mine made up at an exhaust place. It took them a little time but it works great and loogs good too. I had it chromed. What ever you do, don't spend the big money and buy one from. They are machined from too much on the sides and this causes them to crack and break. I also learnt this from experience. Hope this helped.
  7. I just bought an auto window winder of E-bay for $20, and I want to install it. Anyone have any idea on where to get the wires from for the connections? I figured out which wires I do need for the install, but, I don't want to mount everything in the door, TOO BULKY!!! I won't have any problems installing the unit, cos all the wires are colour coded. It's just basically getting to the wires under the dash, or somewhere else. Can anyone help me as to the location for the window wires? Thanks for your help out there!!! PLEASE GUYS. I'M SURE THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP ME.
  8. Cool thanks for the pics. Just curious to know if you know which one of the wires sends the signal to the ECU to tell of the fuel level?
  9. just wondering if anyone has a picture or knows of the location of the fuel level sender for an RB25DET? I have bought a new autometer fuel level gauge that can be programmed to work with any sender, so whoever could help me out, that would be great. Thanks
  10. craved, thanks for that. just wondering which hose to tap into to get proper/accurate water temp reading (upper or lower)
  11. I am just new to the modification scene and just wondering if anyone can help me out with a few things. I have just bought an AutoMeter Water Temp gauge and obviously want to install. Just wondering if anyone knows and has possibly a picture of the location of the sender on the engine. My car is a '94 R33 GTS-T RB25DET. Thanks
