  1. Hey All,

Unfortunately I have been put in a tight situation which has resulted in needing to sell my track car project……
It has only been on Wakefield once over a year ago, since then it has sat in my garage whilst I get it ready for track work. It does get started monthly to check pressures and leaks etc.
As you will see from the build list below, it’s a very strong, fast and a reliable base to create an epic track car!

As it’s purpose was a track car, all interior components have been removed along with the sound deadening.
The complete chassis has been pop riveted for extra strength, along with the sills being filled with expanding foam for the little bit extra stiffness..

I still have most of the the interior components, these will go with the buyer in case you would like to rebuild, or part out for some extra cash.

This car has been registered in NSW, so all it “theoretically” requires is a blue slip to be back on the road.

I’m looking for a really quick sell here, so any reasonable offers will be considered.
I would be happy with anything over the 13K mark.

  2. Hi Guys,

Just in the process of wiring back my track car, and installing a 6-Pole Cut Off switch.

I have a question about the wiring of this, judging my the drawing, i have to connect:

    Main battery Line x 2

    Ignition

    Coil

    Resistor (Came with Kit)

Now with the main battery line, does this include the starter motor line? I was going to use the alternator along with a power feed im using for all the lights etc. + the fuel pump.

I dont see how having the starter motor on that switch is necessary, as it isnt "on" during operating the car.

Hit me up with any questions if i have confused you.

    Cheers

  3. Hey Guys,

    Just a quick one..

Does anyone know or used a mobile fabricator?

My car cant really be moved ATM, and would love if someone could come to my house, take measurements and come back to fit.

Im only after some sheet work on bulk head etc.

    Cheers guys.

  4. Hey Guys,

I'm after a little help here before I go out and purchase a new seat and rails..

Has anyone fitted the universal fixed (not slifing) seat rails to a 32 before?

Its for a track car, and i'm the only driver, so I don't see the need in spending the extra $300 for the sliding version.

My only concern is that the floor pan of the GTR isn't exactly, they have all those ripples to increase rigidity etc...

    Cheers

  5. Thanks Evil,

The event is on in July, not thats what the website says anyway. I do remember it being in March last year.

I called wakefield for some info, totally useless, still waiting on a call back.

  6. Hi All,

Well after going and watching the event a few times, and seeing that we all now have a car at some sort of track ready stage, We have decided that we would be entering this year.

As it's our first time, we don't have any goals other than to have fun, and too find more about our car.

Although the event is some time away, we are all aware on how quickly time flies, and spots won't last forever!

After reading all the documentation on the Wakefield & AASA website, we cannot find out information on car regulations..

Speaking to a few driver's at last year's event. It all seemed quite relaxed, and the only requirement they kept saying was that a 1L catch can is required.

If anyone here can point us in the right direction on what's required by us to sort our car out..

Or even some pointers about refuelling, tools and equipment etc.

We won't be using our R32, instead a DC2 as it's going to be much cheaper for our first time..

    Cheers
