  1. Guys,

Just ordered some brand spankin new coilovers which should be arriving soon. Just wondering if there is anything that you would recommend that I change at the same time while im playing around there. The car is getting a bit old now (94 R33 GTST) and i know for a fact that the steering rack is leaking, but is there anything like bushes that would be a good idea to change as well while im there? My castor rod bushes look shot, i think ill do them for sure

    Cheers,

    Damo

I reckon a rear camber kit for sure. they are around $150. definatley cast rod bushes - go to nolathyne. just check your rear sub frame bushes too. a cheap up grade for these if they are stuffed is solid ones - around $100

    hope that helps

  4. Hey

Just wondering if anybody knows where to get some intercooler piping for R33 RB26 coz this is the last thing i need to get before its finished. I cant use STD piping as im using a GReddy item. I had a quote from ASE and they reckon between 600-800$ ????? Way expensive for to bits of pipe!!!

    Cheers

  5. Hey

    Just need some advice........

I have just got my RB26 in and am ready to put it into my S1 R33. Problem............. The motor is out of an R32 GTR and the have Square engine mounts rather than the round ones on R33. I have been told that by putting RB25 mounts on over rides this problem.

Can some body clarify this for me??

    Cheers

  6. Hey

Well my motor has finally arrived after its long 4 month wait from Japan.!! I just have a couple of questions that need to be cleared up....

    1. Do the engine mounts need to be changed as i have noticed that the 32 have different angles than 33.

    2. I have changed the timing belt but i set all the cam markings up along with the crank marking but when i get to tension it it pulls one of the cams off its mark by about 2 degrees. Is there any way of avoiding this or is this ok??

Cheers...... any OTHER help greatly appreciated!

  7. Hey

As i said before i have just recieved my motor after 4 months of waiting and im looking at changing the GTR system to 2WD. I bought my self a RB25 sump to bolt on as i have been told that they will bolt straight up. On removing the transfer case i noticed that the RB26 oil sump and system was far better designed than that of the RB25. So this is what im possibley thinking........... getting the transfer case taken off of the sump and welding or putting welsh plugs from where the shaft was. Hence better oil flow and larger oil capacity!!

    Thought and ideas....................

Any one know where i could get this done??

    Cheers Adam
