  3. It is a 93 r33 mspec with the full series 2 front conversion, Full veilside style kit, 18" stalkers with 90% toyo tread.

    Fully tuned SAFC 2, NEW T3\4 TURBO, FULL 3" EXHUAST, ARC FMIC, BOSCH 044 FUEL PUMP, OBX ADJ FUEL PRES REG, custom cold air intake and pod filter, electronic boost controller set to 15 psi, digital turbo timer.

    MODDED AUTO (very tricky) harder shifts at the push of a button and modded shortened shifter, see interior pic.

    The engine has only done approx 70000 kms and runs like new, Never been on a race track or street raced, mature owner.

    Dvd system with 8" screen, kicker sub, kenwood amp, infinity splits.

    Interior and exterior in great condition.

    Full alarm system with remote entry to doors and boot release, drivers window windup, and hidden kill switch.

  5. ChadR33: Try running Shells 98RON fuel.

    I threw a tank of BP Ultimate in mine, and it did nothing but misfire, fart cough, popped a flame or two also (When using gears to hold me back) and I got pretty shit economy from it.

    I have so far found the Shell fuel to be the best (Have run Caltex, BP, and now Shell)

    Also, someone on here mentioned, if you keep the revs below around 2500RPM when accelerating, fuel consumption drops majorly, but get much above 3000RPM, and the fuel will be used the same basically as if you rev out to like 5500RPM each gear.

    Hence, I cruise mine, keep the revs down, barely touch the throttle when accelerating.

    So far this tank (nearly 200KM) I've only hit boost once, and that was only 5PSi (My "low" boost is around 7-9PSi) and that was coming down a short freeway onramp from like 20km/h, and needing to get up to 100km/h to merge into traffic.

    Normally I sit along way in vacuum even when accelerating (5mmHg is normally my "fast" accelerating vacuum)

    My auto will only change gears below 2500rpm if I really, really go easy on the throttle, even at light throttle it doesn't change gears below 3500 with the auto button at normal position.

  6. I must have serious issues with mine?

    My auto r33 when stock with pod and exhaust and 18" rims was flat out getting 300km to 50 litres in town and was always running sweet, (no fuel smell or missing). Since then have added safc2, t3\t4 turbo, fuel pump\ adj fuel pressure reg,15psi boost, and have had it dynoed 3 times and now, with a few full throttle runs to 110km\hr (approx 6 runs) the last tank lasted 250\50 litres.

    I never use air con and always run bp ultimate, the car goes well and has been fully safc2 tuned on a dyno, I just coast around usually at low throttle, and don't spend much time at lights, as where I live there isn't that many and no traffic jams.

    Have no idea why get such terrible economy as the car runs absolutely sweet as.

    Should I replace the o2 sensor, fuel filter even if the car is running fine?

  8. Hi all,

    I have come across some information that will be an absolute Godsend for those out there with an AUTO r33, I have done this mod myself and can tell you it will definitely quicken up your shifts for $0.

    O.K here goes, on the inside front, drivers side, of the engine bay, facing the engine fan are 4 plugs on a bracket.

    The TAN coloured plug is the one you want.

    Find the red wire on this plug and cut it.

    You can put a switch on it if you want,I did, which will allow you to switch your shifts from hard to soft.

    Although I am told, its not as fast shifting as the valve body upgrade, the difference is very noticeable, Going around a corner at under half throttle my r33 chirps when it hits second.

    Give it a go, it works wonders.

    Disclaimer:-Do at your own risk as I am not a mechanic, and don't have any degree I am simply passing on this awesome info (I got from a mechanic) to fellow skyliners, and am void of any responsibility if anything were to go wrong with your car. (It sux how much you got to cover yourself these days)

  12. ok. ive got a very good condition r34 rb25 5 speed for sale.

    i recently had it advertised for 2200 with a nismo gmax spec 2 twinplate clutch.(secondhand)

    i need to clear out my storage space urgently. so im asking 1800 with the clutch or 1500 without.

    the box has done aproximatly 30k. i bought it a while ago for use in my rb26 powerd dr30. ive since stripped the car and need to get rid of the box ASAP. cheeres

  13. Anyone here have tried both "ball n spring" vs jaycar IEBC.

    my gfb sux, wanna try jaycar soon but after reading this thread i feel like giving it a go 1st.

    anyone here have experienced both controllers?

    I have, first bought the turbotech one, it didn't hold boost with my turbo, tried everything to make it work but I have an aftermarket cheap t3\t4 I bought on ebay which didn't like any cheap boost controllers, so I bought the jaycar ebc, does the job for me, but I had to tune it completely different to the examples given, because my turbo has issues. Still after playing around with ebc it was much better for my application. Would recommend jaycar to anyone who can solder and follow instructions.

    Comes with wiring and instructions?

    It comes with all the wiring but no instructions sorry, but it only has 4 wires and 2 of them are the earth and positive, the other 2 go to the speedo wires, I guess, don't know for sure. I got it in a deal with my car, and haven't installed it, but I have put power to it and made sure it works. I am sure any auto electrician or even mechanic would be able to work it out.
