  1. Definitely need a sump for the GTR if you are doing track events. Single plated clutches will not last very long too even if they are ceramic or brass clutch....

As for the brakes department, i recommend braided lines, Motul RBF600 and a set of high temp brake pads like Hawks HPS Carbon.

  2. Yes yes. I should be all good for the next track day. You gonna be there??

absolutely... already booked in with Paul for the arvo spot.

Rumour has it that brave Jason is doing another full day :)

  3. Hmm, pretty good times. Talk about semi's. I'd love to have some for the next track day. I am hoping the wife will release strangle hold on my proverbials so I can make it to the next one. Mind you, having 2 little people in the family does make life much more hectic.

Warwick has no such problems

Get in quick Pete. Paul said that spots are being booked rather quickly.....

  4. Glen, so what were your times for the day?? How did the car feel compared to the GTR??

Sprint - 1:06:xx (one sec behind my GTR)

Clubman - 1:09:xx (match my GTR)

pretty happy with the times considering its not too far off from my previous GTR. Had shitty tyres on so i was pretty much sliding around the corners

    i need semis :whistling:

  5. rofl @ Warwick & Eug....

btw, Squizz's NA dupra is stock except for catback.... no suspension or brake upgrades whatsoever and as such, i really think you need to get your facts straight regarding the upgrade comments.

One thing for sure though, Squizz's balls are made of titanium.... ask Eug, he knows :domokun:

  7. Hey Glenn, all the 'Non SAU Skylines' are all Skylines who are not SAU members, so you would be a 'Non Skyline SAU Member' lol.

IanB, I will hold a spot for you.

lol... kinda figure that out only after making the post

how about a 'Ex Skyline Ex SAU Member' category... i can run the track all by myself :)

  8. Have you done anything to the mighty CIVIC to make sure you will be able to keep up with Jason and I?? Just remember you haven't got the mighty GTR to back you up now. It will all come down to driver skill. :P

sold the civic after 7 months of boring ownership. i'm currently in possession of of Honda Integra DC2 type R :P

The must-have 'family car' department has been taken care of by the wife and her new corolla :(

keep the car till at least the 1st track day of the year :sorcerer:

  9. Bring on the VTEC yoh. :) Seriously Glen, it would be great to see you out there again!!!

woah.. the great Peter has spoken... i would definitely want to keep up with yours and Jason's times on the track :)

arent you selling the skyline and getting a x5 instead? :)
