  1. Hey guys,

Just thought i might make a point of observation.

Alot of u are posting in on various topics what immobiliser/alarm u have, pics of ur car, rough parking locations, what "anti-theft" measures u are taking...basically thats telling any amatuer thief what to do, what to look out for and where ur car is located.

Recently i had an alarm/immobiliser installed and decided to investigate how easy it is to steal a skyline in light of recent events and all i can say is that an alarm/immobiliser is only going to slow down a SINGLE thief by 20 mins...and thats assuming they r going to drive the car away...of course they can always tow a car with immobiliser/alarm, so basically, if they want ur car..there gonna get it. I had one of my friends have there car seconds from stolen (einstein) and that scared the sh*t out of me. Its a sad world these days owning a skyline.

  2. So its not even a proper "wax", its merely an additive to the washing process...

My aplogies, I thought this place was similar to the shopping centre "buff" places that fubar your paint with their "hand" polishing.

I HAVE now visited the premises and they do a very good job at cleaning and FAR better than your shopping centre mobs.

Oh and for the record, I do know what I am talking about...

So if you want a good wash then this place IMHO does a great job and for a reasonable price. Unsure about the full detail, but as you can tell I think I know how to do that...

If I stated u didnt know what u were talking about I do aplogise...sometimes u get kids talking shit up as if they know everything and everybody else knows nothing...when did u come in...I cant remember washing any other skylines, apart from the usuals

  3. felt good being washed next to a porsche cayman S :)

Andrew: better yet, tell ur boss to pay for ur fuel for SCC coz u'll be working to get more business!

Yeah unfortunately that excuse didnt work...and that cayman S was the best car i've ever driven. Made the car wash look good too...Sexy porsche next to a Sexy '34

  4. Hey pear, that paint on ur car was beautiful...and ni5mo, i'll mention the first coffee free thing, see how it goes. Oh and anybody that is wanting to come back as regulars, make sure u get the "frequent user" card as it entitles you to free coffee's and a wash i think...nice meeting everybody and unfortunately I wont be able to make it tomorrow as due to the fact that we were so overwhelmingly busy today...i now have to work tomorrow...sorry guys

  5. I would have to agree. The m80 is a good reliable immobiliser/alarm. go to autobarn at Slacks Ck. Not only do they know there shit, they also know skylines. i talked to one of the install dudes and he was able to say what i needed, what i didnt need, etc. Would recommend both the m80 for both insurance and piece of mind and Autobarn at Slacks Ck

  6. agreed, or rip the engine out, sell it and put in a standard rb26, it will still be faster not to mention more reliable.

I would opt to go either gtr engine or simply upgrade single turbo, fuel, injectors and intercooler. i was gonna tt the rb25det and every performance store i went to basically told me to piss off and not waist there time

  7. Anyone will common sense will know not to come out for atleast the next month. The cops are already out to get “hoons”, and now this with the Supra has only sparked more anger with them.

Couldnt agree with u more, but unfortunately there is the SCC in 2 days...I think the cops r gonna have a field day with that imo.

  8. @schultzr33 and f31n7: was nice to speak to you guys today, maybe next time when we're not in a hurry we might actually get you to wash the 33!

Was nice to speak to u as well. And yeah, we'de be happy to wash ur car...see u next time.

  9. Due to the forum being official warned some time ago about the distribution/selling and downloading of illegal workshop manuals we cannot condone the distribution of said manuals or we will face copyright law...

I suggest you send a PM schultzr33 and keep it private...

    Thank You

    SRY

  10. Thanks for that Andrew. What are your operating hours. And how long to get the polish as well.

    Ed.

OK. Operating hours are 7:30 to 5:00 mon-sat ....although if u want the works done it is best to bring ur car in before 4:30. And on Sun, operating hours are 8:30 - 4:00. If we're not busy a polish and wash can take UP TO 2 hrs, but can normally be done in approx an hour.

  11. Dave, what was the name of the place. I want to give them a ring to get my car cleaned before the weekend.

    Thanks.

    Ed.

Sry for the DBL post...The name of the place is One Stop Hand Car Wash Cafe....Ph No is 38493899. Best days to bring ur car in if possible is Mon, Tue or Wed as these r our slowest days.

  12. Hey guys, just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Andrew and I have been the one who has booked in Mushroom, LBR33 and Rhinorebel. I have been talking to the owners about some form of discount, etc for SAU members as the feedback has been great. Thanx guys. The products we use r the best, the glass cleaner itself is the best I have ever used (removes smoke film perfect). At the moment u wont need to book in for a polish or engine clean. ENGINE CLEAN = $30 extra and POLISH = from $80 extra. The polish is a liquid polymer that gives a deep clear gloss finish and protects paint from fade. No buffing is ever done unless asked. It was nice putting faces to names aswell. Hell I even met the treasurer for the first time. I will definately be at the Charity cruise. And generally I will be the one looking after the skylines.

  13. hey all, im after a GTR wing for my S2 R33 GTS-T. new preffered, used is ok if its in good nic.

just pm me or call, 0433 117 224

also after GTR front bar and sideskirts.

Am in the same boat, After a GTR Wing preferably QM1 as well tho doesnt matter. PM me with any details

  14. Ur headlights are hooked up through the hazard relay, located behind the hazard light switch...Pull ur dash off, unclip the loom connected to the relay and unscrew relay from dash panel. Replace hazard relay and problem should be fixed if it is fault with relay, otherwise indicator wiring may be shorted...hope this helps :(

  15. I am having the same problem...what u need is a fuel cut defender. r u running non-factory boost? if so, the ecu cuts fuel as the boost is raised to prevent damage. if u get a turbosmart fuel cut defenfer ($120~) and fit it, it tricks the ecu and ur car will run fine. When my car was doing it, i spent like $200 just on the iridium sparkplugs, thinking it was them, but its just ecu. Alternatively, u could replace/ tune ur ecu...hope this helps

  16. i cant explain it either.

u see the pics above, that's exactly how it was hooked up.

i used the stock airbox hole to bolt down my earth.

what if it jumped to 20psi? i was trying to watch the road at the time, but i'm sure i caught it at its peak, around 14-15psi.

tell me once more i havent f*cked anything, and the smoke is standard behaviour for a 3" exhaust on cold start. coz i need reassurance to move on from this

i guess if there is something, it will show itself soon enough.

I'm gonna take it for a bit of a caning today and make sure all is holding up.

This is normal behaviour, mine does it as well...Hope this helps
