The switch attached to the brake pedal has probably gone open-circuit
Ok.... I have the same issue as the OP....
Where is 'said switch'??? And how does one tell if this particular switch has died????
Surely it can't be too hard to fix
-
Welcome aboard.....
Any pics of teh 34????
-
Try using the search function in the forums bud....
Also google works as well for stuff like specs on the vehicle
-
I assume it's non-turbo being GTS yeah????
Need to get an exhaust system with some back pressure to gain power (oversize exhausts will lose power on an NA car) so look at 2-2.5 inch system....
As for computer to again more power, not so sure......
-
Sounds like it..... Or the new climate control is buggered.....
Can you do a diagnostic on it???? I know how to do it on 33's and I am sure that there would be way to do it... No doubt there is thread on the 32 climate control diagnostic procedure somewhere
Happy hunting

Coupe tail lights wont ever fit.... As posted above the S1 and S2 sedan ones are interchangable....
Why change them though???? The S2 sedan lights are heaps better looking than the S1 rears.....

the 33 was by far the most "westernised" skyline of them all. Its classic coup shape has much wider appeal to those outside japan as witnessed by the amount of them imported to oz the uk etc.
It is probably the most durable design as well. The 32 looks very old hat these days by virtue of its quirky design and the 34 will follow, Its shape is too far off beam to fit in to the classic coup mould.
So I guess it depends really on wether you are a round eye or a slant eye at heart. slantys can go eat rice and drive 32's
We roundy's will continue to dine on fillet steak and drive our whales.
Bang on Noel.....
Personally I would love to own a KPGC10 or the Ken Miuri KGC210 as they are great looking cars........
But I originally fell in love with the 33... Whale or not, they are a damn fine looking vehicle......
Peeps who knock 33's usually drive crap like 32's or 34's..... Some have been seen driving S13's and S15's as well......

Have you tried Ray Hall? He used to do autronic- to set up a whole new map that price sounds in the ball park, cost me around 900 for a complete map set up on both my autronic and motec. He might also be making allowances for any extra little expenses you might run into with autronic, it's very particular about it's senders (although that might have changed with the latest model)
First place I tried.... He doesn't do Autronic... No longer according to his receptionist (or whoever answered the phone)
Got some numbers from PMR33 for some tuners ion the ville, but I would prefer not to have to drive 400k's

Welcome buddy, nice 34
You will enjoy it for sure, just don't let the power go to your head! drive safely and conservatively, and it will be the best decision ever buying a skyline!
^^ Great advice that...
Welcome and enjoy
Look after your car and it will look after you....

Nice pick up....
I restored an EK ute a few years ago and had to do a lot of making of panels... There was some easy stuff to get and some stuff that you just could not get and had to fabricate... Pain in the arse in both respects to be honest as I had to call around to and visit a lot of wreckers to get certain parts...
Oh and this was before you could jump on the net and just google it to find it (ok, ok, it may have been MORE than a few years ago) so a lot of scouring of wreckers was involved....
I still recommend a good scrummage at the wreckers, you will be very surprised at what you will find You will be surprised at how many parts you will find for old dattos.....

Don't call Nissan, they will always say genuine parts will fix the problem. Its going to be one of these:
*Brake pads very very low
*Rotors are lipped badly / unevenly worn
*Some performance brakes will squell when braking
My money is on worn rotors, go get it checked out properly.
^^ what he said......
I have bendix on mine and have no issue at all.......
If you have already replaced the pads, then it will most probably be rotor related squeal

Looked at the MB's and BMW's
Settled on a W8 Passat...

Hi all..
As stated, looking for a respected tuner for Autronic ECU.
There is one in Cairns, Leigh at SVS, however he wants $660-$1000 for a tune depending on if it needs to be re-mapped etc etc......
Now, that is friggin highway robbery as far as I am concerned, so does anyone have a particular tuner that they use/recommend???
Car is S2 R33 GTS-T with 2845 huffer and all the usual supporting mods
Happy to drive down to the ville if need be as it's a good excuse to...
a) get away for a couple of days
b) go for a decent drive.
Cheers in advance
Joe
