Someone carded me at Camberwell on sunday. Gunmetal 32 GTR was parked close by?
and
Spotted a white 33 GTST in the shithouse traffic on springvale road today. Driving next to me for a few km's

Winamp for sure, have always used it. As for putting tunes on to the actual Ipod you can use Sharepod as an alternative but it's not as extensive as Itunes.

My brother gave me this for Xmas, been playing it a fair bit. Probably the best FPS i've seen on PS3, not really a fan of FPS on PS3 because I prefer the old mouse and keyboard but this has been quite playable. But yeah its boring as shit when you have to drive between the missions, gets really repetative, need more bus stops!

PC gaming anyday though
I'll agree, for FPS that PC is best. Shooting with joysticks on consoles sucks ass!

+1 RE Customs Ray's very good at tuning with the power FC's, and it's not a "happy" dyno with unrealistic numbers...
Very true +1.

im still a little uncertain lol now im thinking an r33 gtr..complete opposite..but yeah who knows with me
No compromise, GTR is GOD.

Does the car idle normally? Blow smoke on idle?
My thoughts would be that the metal-like noise you heard was the ass-end of your turbo heading down the exhaust.
-
Does it actually boost? If not, it sounds like a blown turbo. If it does but it blows smoke, you have probably burned the oil seals out.

Look up how the Rotary engine works... it will give you a bit more insight as to why they are higher maintainence, especially if its not stock.

hook a vacuum hose up to a bottle of water and get those pistons/valves clean
WTF?

I'd stick with Garrett as a minimum.

Is there gunna be any new console release any time soon?
Because i would hate to buy a xbox 360 or PS3 and a new one comes out a sort time after.
They have only really been chipping away with "minor" upgrades, the HDDs are back to 60gb and you get a dual shock controller standard with them now. But HDDs are easily upgraded for $100 odd and you can do it yourself, as for a whole new release I think it may still be a while yet. As for price I'm tipping that they may drop a bit in the new year as they haven't really dropped much in the last 6-9months but they give you a crappy game as a bonus now.
-
they are all much of a muchness. i've used nismo and tomei and hks. if I had to buy one now, I think i like nismo the best. dunno why, I just have an image of them being slightly nicer quality. but in reality there is bugger all between them.
Probably the best thing about Nismo is that 99.9% of the time is going to fit perfectly.

paulr33 has this on his homepage:
Goto diagrams >>> then find Nissan OEM Airflow Wiring Diagrams

Stock GTR pump should be good for up to 400awhp.

my car got through compliance without a fuel nozzle size thingy in it and it was complied legit and went through the normal channels, can't see why there aren't others out there without the nozzle hole
Mine made it through without the nozzle restrictor, so much better without it.
R33 Gtr Clutch Fan
in General Maintenance
Posted
Greetings all,
Whilst driving the other day I noticed my car sounded as though it was under load, quite alot of fan-like noise and was a bit sluggish.
I noticed the clutch fan was working quite hard if I revved it. When the car is stone cold (and the clutch fan heatsink is obviously cold) the fan will hardly budge as if the clutch in it is still engaged... is this the problem? Should it move freely when it's cold? If someone could check and let me know it would be much appreciated.
If that happens to be the case, are there any solutions to fix it or is it easier just to buy another?
Any information will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Marcus.
