  1. Really don't mean to hijack this thread just out of curiosity. im currently buying an power fc for my rb20 from a mate who has it obviously tuned for his setup. am i able, when i take possession of the power fc, reset it and install it on my car and run it on a factory just like my standard ecu until i can afford a tune?

if so does this same above process work?

    Cheers, Adz

no point, it takes 30 seconds to plug in a pfc so leave it in a drawer until you can afford to tune it

  2. Backtrack your route and see if you can find the offending section of road spooky. Take some pics and do as toy did. I cant believe they didnt have a wet paint section cordoned off.

real clever man, he'll get paint on his car again

  3. i am not confused. I no what you have to do to register a car and transfer rego. I have NEVER seen a copy of the road worthy and the own of the yard said to me only 2 days ago that the company that does there roady worth's refused to do it because of the vin number issue. if you like i can post a copy of my rego cert. But i know for a fact that the car is in my name. i when and put the plates on myself. i personly went to QLd transport and did that a month after i bought the car. I wasnt in my name a few weeks after i bought it. But once i phoned the car yard it was transfer a day later.

if you have your rego details in front of you call up REVS or go to checkitout.com.au and run your VIN number

see if it is flagged as stolen, etc

  4. Just Ignore that twater GeeTeeAss, he just comes on to hear to cause trouble.....

i hope that everything goes well for you and that company gets what they deserve......

I sure you have the support of the skyline comunity behind you, please keep us upto date as what happends, and just ignore the wankers cos as you can see most of us are here to support you...

you always need a roadworthy when you buy a car, even if you buy it from a car yard. so either she is confusing a roadworthy with something else, or she doesn't have the car in her name. you can not transfer a registered car into your name without a roadworthy.

if they sold it to you unregistered you'd need to take the car to QT yourself to get it registered (or sign a form to say another person is authorised to do so), has any of this happened?

and phatboi, just because i'm not blowing smoke up her arse doesn't mean i'm not helping. she clearly doesn't understand how car purchases should work, and i'm explaining that.

  5. no, wouldn't have done shit

would someone have come to stop them? would they have run away? would anyone care?

i have better deterrant devices avaliable to me now =)

man, if i was watching tv and i heard my car alarm going off outside i'd be going to have a look

car thieves aren't going to hang around a car in a suburb street for long with an alarm blaring

  6. correct me if im wrong, but I dont see how the female is going to cop anything bad considering she was the passanger of the car.

The police may question her in regards to what the driver was doing at the time but i dont see how she would be coppin the fines/tickets as she wasn't behind the wheel.

but yeh, she will have a lot to now deal with, with the death of a friend or a family member from this accident.

uhh, she was driving the car (which was his)

  7. I doubt you drive one at all....anyway back to school today or tomorrow so hopefully we'll never see you on here again. Maybe instead of posting on here you can get more of your friends to join up so you can write stupid trader comments in their profiles? I'm going to stop replying now because frankly, you bore me.

such a shame man, your input will be missed in this thread

  8. That is the point right there the chassis is a compromise it isn't designed specifically for performance applications and bandaids such as ATTESSA have to be used. The GT3 is is not compromised and the one I rode in put its 400rwkw down better than any GTR I have been in.

There is nothing wrong with GTRs I just wish some people were realists about them

    totally agree

i realise this is a skylines forum but its retarded that (some) people on here seem to think that skylines are the best car in the world at everything, when really they are just a good all round sports car thats easily affordable

  9. You saying you could post a better time then a Modified GTR ? Maybe if it was driven by

a beginner driver. When it comes to LAPS of a track its 50% the Car and 50 % the driver.

Lets see your little S13 keep up with a Modified GTR on the open road

Whos going to get to 100 first ? who is going to get of the line faster ? whos tail lights you going to be seeing ? Thats right the GTR's

i think thats the point hes trying to make, because obviously a gtr is the more powerful and capable car, just like the fezza is the more powerful and capable car vs a gtr

if the guy is driving the fezza because he noticed he is losing his hair hes not going to drive as hard in his $200,000 car as the guy in his $20,000 gtr, just like the kid in s13 is going to drive like a madman until his grip, engine or skill runs out.

a gtr is a great car no doubt, but its not that far beyond everything else that its untouchable

  10. so the other night my mate and i were goign to his house.

We are sitting at the lights (over the northside of bris). My mate in his VT did a burnout, straight afterwards i turned off to take a shortcut to where we were going. this car follows me into the backstreets. so i guess that its a cop and drive on my best behaviour. 2 minutes later he pulls me up. and says "Why did you do a burnout back there" to which instantanously me and my other mate replied "it wasnt me/us it was the white VT". the cop stands there for a couple of seconds dumbfounded and then replies "Oh we heard the screech and saw your car, well drive safe." what b|_|LLsh@t. how ridiculous is that. atleast i didnt get fined THAT time

    bloody cops

OH NO SKYLINE DRIVERS ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AGAIN

  11. Clearly the guy did more than stare, he was mouthing off and attempting to write down the number plate.

I've got to eat lunch but ill write more about this soon.

seriously, you have to expect attention from randoms if you drive an import, if you can't handle that then sell it and buy a camry. OP claims he had done nothing wrong (which i'm guessing is a half truth) so theres nothing the guy who wrote down his plate could even do.
