    compression test

    Hay dude not to sure what the compression ratios on the skyline are but i know that most normal cars. come out of factory at like between 150 to 160 psi depending on engine capacity etc.

    I know with SR20 180sx anywhere over 140psi is good

    but the important thing to take not on compression is that they are all similar.

    e.g

    140 139 140 142

    its bad to have inconsitancy in cylinders

    e.g

    135 140 145 129

    just as an example some one please correct me if iam wrong. :(

    hay guys not sure if you saw this on Tv, i was watching Tv while i saw it and the skyline was bloody ripped to shreds.

    what really pisses me off is if you want to go and do stupid things like that do it on your own, dont take your mates in the car and danger their lives becuase of your stupidy

    thats my 2 cents.

    Ok guys, iam looking for this Smashed Famous R34 pic, yes you all know what it looks like Blue R34 GTR that has by the looks of it hit a tree at very high speed.

    this pic has been floating around for ages and i seen it heaps now i need it for a reason and i cant find iT GRRRRRRRRR the net :)

    there was also a web page some one had posted up ages ago, with all famous sports cars in funny and scary accidents if any one has this info please post

    hay dude are you serious about testing it, and telling me what you think, i dont want you bagging me to the forums, just coz it might not meet your optimum speed if you think it does etc.

    anyway just let me know and i will give you a subdomain i created for you to test it

    i just pissed of with people bagging me for a service they havnt used.

    gatty no offence taken, thanks for setting it straght Amaru,

    Listen Gatty, iam not here to steal peoples money or to charge them and run off with a pissy 79.00 dollars. i told every on on this thread if they honestly interested in an account, iam more than happy to give them a 30 day trial, no credit cards no nothing plain and simple.

    Once again iam not here to steal $79.00 of these people, iam here to try and help out some people by offering them hosting services. for a good price.

    and if you think my services are shit, well then keep it to your self unless you try them.

    both Dr-Drift and meggala have bought some space off me and dr-drift has put on more than afew gig of videos and his site and is running quite fast and download speeds are very high.

    The difference hear is that iam offering these people alot of space and alot of bandwidth, for a very cheap price yes. Why should i charge so much for it.

    anways i will stop here

    i will get full server specs for you as soon as possible, just to let you guys know our site is currently being upgraded so i will notify you of the changes.

    Also i just remebered Meggala has a hosting account with me as iam good friends with him, so you guys can ask him if you like, in terms of speeds and uptimes

    as i havnt herd any complaints from him :)

    I know exactly what you mean Amaru,

    As you said we do cater for business and high end "mission critical" web sites.

    But I am offering you guys a deal with heaps of space bandwidth to do basically whatever you want.

    Now if you are a corporate company with 500 users over AUS and a huge website obviously I am not going to go HAY! take our $99.00 dollar plan :)

    As the capabilities and demand and just too high, I would recommend another of our plan ;)

    I am not here to rip any one off, just trying to offer people a good service for a good price. I know a lot of people on the forums look for hosting to host what ever they want weather its there car information to help people business sites etc. But most of you are not making a profit on what you host on, that’s why I am offering this to you guys. I expect people to be weary, but like I said any one who is interested I am more than happy to open up a 30 day account for you to test on etc :rofl:

    man i just saw this thread and a good one it is, i can only put in my 2 cents and say guys, you think you can drift start off at a skid pan, when i first bought my 180 i thought ohh yea i could drift, so i decide to do somthing in the wet one nite and hit a Caution RD work sign.

    after that i woke up and realised i knew shit all about my car and how it handles.

    So i started going to the Skid pan about 5 times so far,

    and i tell ya what i have seen many guys who say they are big drifters go on the skid pan and not even be able to do 1 full circle.

    so any one who wants to start that is the place to go.

    why spend 1000 dollars repairing your car

    when you pay 100 and all you want to do is go home and sleep at the end of the day

    Lol, a site like SAU wont be put on a simple basic unlimted plan,

    we would have to put them on a farmed server envirment with load balancing etc. etc

    our theretical maximum is 80gig per site per month and 80 gig in space.

    now for some one to be going that far :) would be preety crazy but if they do, and its a good reason then we just split there site into 2 :)

    well i was actullly going to suggest having the prices at 89.00 and $10.00 donation to SAU :)

    Hay guys i dont got no skylines but looking at upgrading my brakes on my 180sx :) its 4 stud and iam thinking of getting 300zx rotors from DBA pre drilled to 4 stud get some z32 calipers at the front and maybe Z32 master cylinder, i still dont know weather its a benifit to change the master cylinder when i do a brake upgrade :D

    also should i be doing anything with the back? rotors or just put some good pads?

    will doing this stuff up my ABS system if any one can tell me :rofl:

    hay guys i have been looking for a job in IT for a couple of weeks bloody pissing me off

    in terms of IT if any of you care, looking for a job in network engineering, system admin.

    so yea, just looking and its soo hard to find somthing. i have been working for my self for 2 years running my own consulting business and its been going well just that fact that business is allways up and down and i would prefer somthing more stable.

    My qualifications skills

    Adv diploma Network Engin

    Cisco CCNA 1 -4

    Cisco CCNP Module 1

    Data Cabling

    routers, switches,

    software hardware

    win 9x to xp

    windows servers

    etc etc etc

    hehe

    but if any one has any advice or could help or anything would be great

    know quite afew of you are in the IT industry

    Ok so today i was taking my brothers car down to bmt to get some work done

    get stoped by the cops on the way

    so i got fined and lost 3 points for not displaying my p's there goes my clean record

    car got defected for too low bald tyres wrong pod and bov but he said bov ok coz it ventes back into exhuast but anways :)

    this shits me i mean yes i should have had my p's but i dont thinhk its worth 3 points

    ok

    now

    this is my question what the hell is the law about points and P plates

    iam on my last year of my p's havnt lost any points till today which was 3 points i lost

    what happends now how many points do i have left?

    any one can clear this up for me be great :D

    hay guys i been playing alot of need for speed latley and i would like to do this to my car :D

    mind you i didnt spray paint it on its photoshoped :)

    basically i want to put on those stripes now i have done the best job i can and i would like to get them done in ilustrator/corel in vector basically so they can be resized and the pixels not distorded

    i want this done so i can take it to sticker place to get printed out :)

    i need them made up as smooth as possible

    any one who can do this i will pay

    or if any one can point me in the right direction i would appreciate it :)

    i think you guys are doing great now all we need once it gets organised is people to actually join and be part of the club. and not complain about the costs or this and that etc.

    also i not sure if posted it in this thread or another.

    but are you guys planning on have a dedicated web site to Skylines Australia Victoria

    with more information online registration

    events etc

    iam not sure but i would reconmend somthing like this not just a forum.

    but anwayz like i was saying iam more than happy to help out with web design providing hosting / etc /etc
