  1. Hey everyone

Im having a problem with a rb20det ecu, plugged in the consult cable and the throttle position sensor is showing 0v closed and .02v fully open

i tried a known working tps and the same thing happened

i then measured between ground and pin 48 on the ecu (throttle sensor power) and it showed 0v

also measured between pin 30 (throttle sensor ground) and 48 and still 0v

and measured directly at the 3 pin plug on the throttle sensor while it was plugged in and still 0v

    Is my ecu stuffed?

its a 2nd hand ecu as i just swapped from an rb25de to rb20det and needed the rb20det ecu, luckily i got it from the wreckers and i can return it

  2. hey

was just after some pics of r32 stock boot carpet and the wooden spare wheel cover, as with mine it just has carpet sitting ontop of the spare wheel

now after looking on nissanfast i found that i was missing the wooden spare wheel cover and some sort of foam that goes under the carpet

pics would be sweet guys, i wanna make my boot interior all stock and sweet again

  3. it is worth it, my steering has no play in it now, it feels really direct and connected to the wheels can feel everything through the steering wheel

although it was a bitch to install the spacer as i couldnt fit the ring end of the spanner over the nuts so i had to use the open end which took forever, once all the nuts where undone i disconnected the lower half link of the steering shaft from the rack, bolted the spacer to that then put it back in and tightened it all up, make sure u scratch a mark across where the lower steering shaft meets at the rack so when u can slide it back in into the same position

  4. i got one i think a paid around 200 for it

its made by a company that has the word "trade" in it, they should be able to look it up in the book and order it in

i found it to be an ok roller but, i improved it and now it never breaks on me

the cylindrical shaped block that the thread screws through sometimes slips out of the rectangular tube that it sits in as the cylinder isnt a tight fit, i fixed this by welding 2 washers exactly the same diametre (beleive it or not nissan head stud washers) to each end of the cylinder, and it hasnt slipt out once yet

  5. as the title says i need an r33 turbo elbow a r32 passenger headlight and an r33 turbo actuator, from what ive read the automatic r33 turbo actuator is rated at 5-7psi this is the one i need as im turboing my motor and need a low psi actuator

im located on the gold coast, so the closer the better but can pay for frieght thanks

  6. yeh mine brakes fine just seems a lot more front bias

thanks for the info on the master cylinder sizes

from reading more in depth have found i will need a 1" bore master cylinder from a r32 gtr...

but my problem is r32 gtr master cylinders only come in abs...

i could go the r32 gtr n1 brembo 1" master cylinder which has no abs,but it is meant for the brembo calipers

the difference between the gtr(abs) master and the gtr n1(non-abs) master cylinders from abs and non-abs is abs have 2 outlets, one for front and one for rear brakes. and the non-abs master cylinder has 3 outlets (2 for front 1 for rear)

Does anyone know if i can just use an r32 gtr abs master cylinder and T-peice the front outlet so i can hook up the 2 front lines fine??

  7. hey everyone

i need to know what number is stamped on the side of an r32 gtr master cylinder, can someone please pop out to their car and check. also if you could note if ur gtr is equipped with abs or not

from what ive read the bm44 is what is on gtst and is 15/16" bore size

and the bm50 is on the gtr and is 1" bore size

i would just like someone to comfirm as on ebay they have seen people selling 15/16" bm44 master cylinders as gtr items... when from what ive read its a gtst one lol i just dont wanna get ripped off

im asking this as i upgraded my r32 gts25 (non-abs) single pot brakes to r33 gtst brakes (which people have said are the same size as r32gtr as they use the same 296mm front rotor and 297mm rear rotor)and they seem to be a lot more bias to the front brakes as they lock the fronts up on hard braking

currently on the car is the bm44 15/16" master cylinder (non-abs) that was originally used with the standard single piston brakes

  8. any reason you do not want the 7-8psi actuator?

ive actually just found out the current actuator is an r32 rb20det actuator which runs 10-12psi

i want the 5psi r33 actuator as im turboing my rb25de and wanna run low psi

  9. hey guys im after a 5psi r33 turbo actuator

as i read in the r33 nissan service manual that the 5psi actuator come stock with automatic r33 gtst's

and that the manual r33 gtst comes with a 7-8psi actuator

im after the 5psi actuator, if anyone has one and knows for certain its a 5psi actuator (,ie checked with a boost gauge) send me a pm

    thanks
