Status, do you still have those two perfect PFC's with bad main chips?
I have two spare NEC main microprocessor chips so it may be combined to working PFC's.

there are places that repair them
you can also get apexi to repair it via nengun.com for official repair
you cant check it with consult so dont bother trying
open the powerfc up and look for any burnt tracks or damage, also smell for any burns

This is a very old tread but we have the solution for years and fixed many PFC's with that issue.

Will be fixed and tested in one day. If the issue is with engine harness we will advice you how
to test it before shipping the PFC to us.

and was for sale at the time I made an inquiry about the price on 10th of the November 2011. It could be a miracle if you could use it at the same time in Australia when they had it for sale at their office in Singapore.

Yea, but after the "extra special unit" I did not stop there,....I went on to say where I was from which is far and it would be lots of headache to return, so that by itself should of cleared up any doubts
He mentioned this second unit thing before in another thread and I had no idea what he was talking about, and to tell you the truth if he hadnt highlighted it in that statement above, I still would not have had a clue where he got that idea from.
And even though, if he really thought I did want a second item, what was the big deal to tell me no, that's not possible, or that I would have to pay for the next one???
Anyway I'm over it.....I have my Datalogit and couldnt be happier, and I have asked that my personal info be deleted, and/or everything else, if the mods see fit.

this means very clearly in WA that he is asking to be sent two as an extra means on top of the other one.

From my personal experience,these guys suck a$ big time..I had a hard time even getting to buy the unit, so I could just have imagined after sale support.
If it turns out your datalogit is bad, just spend the extra and get a new one....Thats what I did and have no regrets
You must be very unscrupulous asking us when ordering the FC-Hako to send you just in case two for the price of one.

i am correct in saying the f-con is unlike the pfc were you need a dongle. the hks just uses a cable correct?
Correct, what you need is only cable and password which is 100% in the ECU from Japan, if want want to base on existing tune
and not the resetting to start fresh tune. We can read password remotly without sending the ECU to us.

Hi Markus,
I have NEC chip with firmware and it is good as taken from working PFC which was Nissan Silvia S14a with VCT,
older version with 76 pins ECU / harness plug.
The body of that PFC is exactly the same as ECR33 FC-14 B so you can sell your PFC with that chip and buy
good in working condition ECR33 PFC. Actually I can get one for you but you will need to buy S14a VCT or VVT chip
from me too.
