*Plates do NOT come with the car unless negotiated otherwise (Currently has QLD 501DIT plates on)

  2. sorry to dig up an old thread....

but im currently getting these exact symptims from my car

only running fm cooler, pod and 3" cat back and cars at 9.5psi

doesnt haven all the time.. but its like a big jerk when it does happen

would that be a boost cut... at 9.5psi? huh.gif

    -Ruffels

Im also getting the exact same problem. It seems to be worse at night and is definatly worse on higher boost, the higher the boost, the worse it is generally.

Has anyone found out what is actually causing this yet?

  3. Im getting pretty bad understeer in my r33 and was wondering what might be causing this?

The car has coilovers and is running 235/40/18 tyres

I thought being a rwd it would typically oversteer?

Anyone got any ideas what is causing this and how i might fix it? Would sway bars help?

  4. What I'm going to do is rip out the HICAS computer (I'm assuming it's the shiny silver box attached to the underside of the parcel shelf?) and check to see if there's any loose connections in it or the cable going to it. Because it's only every now and then, it might be due to a loose connection, so here's hoping.

Lozza, my problem isn't so much when it sits there idle, it's just randomly (around 30% of the time) when I turn the car on, HICAS light will be on and steering sluggish, and it'll stay that way until I turn it off and wander off, say to the shops. Even then, sometimes it'll be on again when I come back, but all in all, say 30% of the time. But yeah, checking the computer time, methinks.

I have the same problem as you, would be good to know if we can find out what it is

  5. Hey all,

just wondering how much boost i can safely put through the stock turbo of an r33?

    Has FMIC, exhaust & pod

    Is 1 bar too much?

*i did a search and im sure its been covered a million times but i was too unco to find it so sorry for the post :P*
