    The info in the first post re: front wheel bearing on NM35 being the same as J32 Maxima is incorrect.

    I ordered an aftermarket J32 Maxima bearing and hub assy from Bursons and attempted to fit it, but found the bearing carrier to be too large to fit the stub axle.

    The CORRECT part number for an aftermarket bearing is NJ137KIT - this is a CBC part number, and should be available from most bearing places.

    M35 Airbag Woes

    Hi all,

    Been a while since I've posted on SAU.

    Recently picked up a beautiful example of an M35, and it has been flawless aside from this one minor issue.

    It's intermittently throwing an airbag code and flashing the light on the dash. It first happened the day I bought it home and the wife jumped in the car with me. We had been to a couple of places that morning already, and it wasn't until we were halfway between one place and another that the light came on.

    I took the car to work and plugged it in to read and clear the code.
    All was then fine until Friday just gone, where I had 2 passengers in the car, and I had been out and about with them for a couple of hours. It was only on the way home with the same people sitting in the same seats that the light started flashing again.

    Back to work today, and I plugged it in to read the code this time. Once again, it's the same code..

    Both times the code is appearing under DTC history, so it's only active when there's someone sitting there. I'm assuming it's something to do with the passenger seat at the front.
    Ideally, I'd like to properly fix this, but failing that, I'm willing to do the resistor trick to sort it out.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction of the wiring/plug/sensor that is causing this?

    Super fine hard coat is the paint.

    You will notice sfhc stickers on rear windscreens.

    I don't read Japanese either but if you have the cold climate package you are likely to have a switch on the right of the steering column that turns on an element at the bottom of the windscreen to unfreeze the wipers and when you push the rear window demister button that should turn on the wing mirror heaters as well.

    Picked up a WGNC34 Dayz yesterday with some minor damage after being parked into the back of a ute at speed.

    Interior is absolutely mint.

    Rego expired ~20th June, so she needs to be gone soon if you don't want to get a blue slip

    I bought it from a dealer when I was in need of a run-around car in April, but have now bought something else (supercharged Corolla).

    She still runs great - I think she was babied for most of her life by an elderly bloke out near Penrith, judging by the books.

    Want it gone ASAP - I want another GTR.

    2 new ones (one each way) on Great Western Hwy at Westmead being built at the moment. They won't be far off completion either.

    They're just as you come up the hill where it goes from 80 to 60 and you have a set of lights to go right onto M4 citybound, and the bus lane on the left.

    Pretty sure I met these blokes at the meet a few weeks ago. I saw the news this morning and had a feeling that I'd seen the car somewhere.

    Even though I had only met them briefly, it's still a massive shock.

    It's sad when someone is killed in a crash, but it's even worse when a passenger is innocently taken too.

    RIP boys.
