  1. Ive got the same problem, but in my R33. The clock is REALLY faint like u cant see it at all unless u really look at nite. The stereo was put it really dodgey and i took it out but the clock still doesnt work. So wheres the fuse for it?

Oh and also about a week ago i started the car and it ran for a couple of seconds and then just died, and then when i tried to start it again it was just turning over but wouldnt start..i sat there for a while with it turning over and giving it a bit of gas and after a while it struggled and then it started again..could this hose be something to do with that?

The last owner of my car has put an external wastegate on it, the smart guys have put it on so that it is in the way of a rubber pipe coming off the intercooler piping and they have just ignored that and let the piece of rubber pipe sit on the external wastegate (real smart lol) and now there is a reasonable sized hole melted in the pipe. Would somebody be able to tell me what the pipe is for and what it does. Would it be leaking boost? The guy that i bought the car off sais that ever since he put the wastegate on the car has been missing and/or boost cutting could this have anything to do with it? Thanx for any help.

  4. And hopefully the person that steals your car is screaming "FTP" out the window as he drives off with it.

    Then you might get some respect when you actually need them, unfortunately they wont say "FHNH?" (fck who now huh?) as they are forced to respond to even the biggest morons

    I have needed them on a couple of occacions and every time they have ended up turning everyting on me and my mates instead of the people that have auctually started the sh*t..the New Zealand law is pathetic, it protects the criminal more than it does the victim..and this is now why i believe FTP as i have only had bad experiences with them..

  5. You need to disable your internal gate you could weld it shut or have something hold it shut from outside where its hooked up to the actuator. Tehn you to find a location in front of the turbo entry where exhaust gas can be made to bypass the turbo (hope you're good at welding cast iron as its nearly impossible) bolt on your external gate and screamer pipe, run manifold pressure to it and there you go!

    man you're going to be going to a lot of trouble. it would be easier to buy an aftermarket manifold with the facility for an external gate and save yourself some brain damage.

    Yeah i think i mite just get some extractors ay it seems like it would be alot easier. If i get extractors with a place to bolt on the external what would i have to do then? Would i still have to find a place in front of the turbo entry to bypass the exhaust gas from the turbo or would the extractors take care of that?

  6. ive found a bit in the top of the boot where it also leaks through tho..i checked it thismorning and it seemed to be dripping through there and running down that side pocket..when it dries out ill put sum sikaflex on it an see what happens
