Convert 300zx Coils To Work In Rb25

not yet, just joined. thanks for the imput. untill now the cheapest i had found a se for was $100 those were 300zx... i only found new ones for the skyline but thats why i joined is to widen my access to parts and info. -
im sure this has been posted many times.... a coil has gone out on a rb25det. it has cracked and sparking bad. i want to know if its possible to use a 300zx coil in the skyline. at least long enough to get the car home. mounting and wiring shouldent matter unless the voltage isnt the same. im more curious about the voltage output. anyway is it possible or are they just too different?
