Hi Guys,
its been a while since i got back on the forum.
My pride got defected approx a month ago.
I was just returning from work...no speeding nothin.
This low life nothing to do f*k*in cop decided to do a random breath test ( obviously to check my car )
Anyways..this f*ker didnt give me any warning at all....he layed out three fines for defects..
i didnt show any attitude ..but that as**hole didnt show any remorse.
This guys got nothing better to do i say...but to book people like us..
but this was only the beginning....Im not sure how many of you have heard of the DECC.
yes...i was given 14 days to clear my defect...had to run like a dog to get it done since i work from 9-5
Got that passed ..luckily...then i had to get a Noise, pod filter check etc etc,
I think there only a few DECC inspection stations...the closest to me was in granville..
Old real grumpy old man...did not try and help me..
didnt pass me...i had to changed my exhaust, my cat convertor to standard, my Filter to box... ( and not forgetting to put a snorkle on it as well ), my boost controller had to go as well...what shits me the most is...there are cars out there pissin smoke and dust...and bikes and cars with real loud noise...90db is fk all...which is the standard limit...
If they say 90DB is the legal limit ...then how does that justify cars and bikes that are louder.
whats your guys opinion to shit like this ?...Had to take this off my chest...all this has cost me 2000 plus.
Guys...u dont wana get defected for rubbish like this...but i will get my car back on road..
what use is a RB20Det without its parts...my car is back to stock standard now..but ive lost most of my hair from my head...
Isnt there anything we can do ?

at that price mate, fly to NSW for like $80 and drive it home on a Temp Reg and register it here...
i could have bought it off u to man...but unfortunatly ..people these days are broke as hell..got no money..ive got two cars and cnt even get it ridd for 5000..its bulsH8...now im thinkn to seel my skyline and spend the rest of the money on my silvia and then sell it..ill be posting pics soon..

Well i was driving to work this morning and i came across a few people doing under the speed limit say doing 60kmp in a 80kmp zone etc im sure it happens to everyone everyday, But the question is do you think its just as dangerous/hazard as say speeding over the limit? I find it very frustrating and could possibly cause a accident?
What are your thoughts?
well to be honest..goin under limit morning time is bad...but if u look it in another way..i sometimes like to just cruise...and u can never do that...some a&&hole has to be right behind u..just go around mate..

hi, my r32 is very sloppy in the rear.... like my mates mum hahaha.... anyway... if i am driving straight and do a few quick left rights it seems as if the back takes a long time to catch up...
when i first bought the car the HICAS light was coming on.... my understanding is that HICAS is the 4 wheel steering mechanism... is that right??? ( if not can someone please explain what hicas is?) so my line of thinking is that the 4ws is unhooked. if this is so do i have to pin the back wheels in place somehow to help them drive straight or what???
as you can tell i am a newb and a bit confused by this sh*t....
another question.... are the R32 GTS-4's meant to be 4WD??? mine is not....

ooooo..thats a nice looking skyline....ill def keep an eye for that...last time my silvia got stolen..was found aftr three weeks..normally this f*kers steal the cars and take it for a small ride and park it somewhere and then have a grand time taking the stereo out..did it have much fuel left on it.
there should be a law out there..shhot to kill...met this dude other day on the street who wanted to steal a car parked on the side road..he was teln me about stripn the car out..some random f*(K...i told him..mate if that was my car and i caught u...id sell ur body parts to my dogs...lol

im thinkn that the guy was thinkn of a r33..did some research and im it says r33 has a series 1 and 2..but dsnt say anything about r32..that guy must be weird...i have to ask him again

Hey guys, I Have a 93 R33 Gts-t Auto
I was wondering if someone could help me with my issue:
Part 1:
I'm ok with my car stuff but this has totally stumped me! I was driving on to the freeway and started to put the foot down when i felt the boost cut come in, but not like usual, not as sudden but more linear if that makes sense....the problem here is that i have set my boost so that i dont ever get boost cut even on cold days!
Part 2:
So i started to keep it at 90ish km/h when the hicas light came on. I pulled over and restarted the engine and the hicas light turned off, now this is when all hell broke lose!
Part 3:
All of a sudden the car started to sound like a big chevy v8. At low revs the inside of the car rumbles and shakes pretty bad and the power seems to be gone...although the boost seems to be still there. The runs like crap now and sounds or feels nothing like my old car! its very rough but the engine itself seems fine, oil is fine, it seems to be from the exhuast but the exhuast seems fine from the outside too. I dont know what it is, i want to get an idea of what can be wrong b4 i give it to someone to have a look at it! the car almost feels and sounds like its running on 4 pistons or something,...but as i said the engine itself seems fine and sounds normal....but the exhuast note is very different.
i dont know if the turbo has gone and is blocking my cat or something, but then again i didnt see a big cloud of smoke and even now i got a mate to have a look and theirs no heavy smoke at all and i still seem to get boost if i put my foot down (but i hvant dont it as much for obvious reason)
PLZ HELP! any feedback is most welcome!

I have decided to replace the head all by myself. First time, so this should be hilarious. If anyone has some tips for me I'd love to hear them.
Importantly I'd like to know; will a standard aftermarket head gasket suffice, or should I be shelling out for a pricier copper gasket, or something else altogether? Its an L26 by the way.
Also, if the head is really cracked/warped nastily, I may be in the market for another head. I know its been touched on before, but can anyone remind me of the finest of all the naturally aspirated heads that will suit? (Mines a ported E88 from memory)
