body is a bit dinged up due to hitting small kangaroo but has never hit anything hard and doesnt have any bog around it
coilovers in rear lowered springs and shocks in front solid as
sr20det with metal headgasket and arp rod bolts very tough engine with good compression in the process of removing blown original turbo and putting on s15 t28bb turbo,
dont have time or energy anymore to complete, the manifold turbo and dump are all dissconnected just need to squeeze it out and bolt on new turbo and o2 sensor, all bolts are bagged and tagged also took pictures beforehand so i knew where everything had to go. If i can talk one of my mates into bolting turbo and sensor on i will just raise price as it will be able to be test driven then.

can guarantee engine and new turbo are in great condition, turbo came of my mates 2002 spec r gt with 50000ks with service records so its like new and i drove car multiple times with blown turbo and is a lot quicker than my soarer and ran well.

Reason for selling so cheap is there is a spun bearing in the engine and I don't have the money to reco it. The turbo died on the night i bought the car. Spent $6000 on the new turbo set up and tuning just before the bearing went.
Car located in Browns plains area until 11th august.
I could easily get the asking price by parting the car out but cant be bothered unless I really have to.

I didnt put them on myself only took them off so wouldnt really know . http://www.haltech.com/igncoils.htm thats the only info i know. any workshop should be able to install them easily.

Im just trying to determine how old they are, as they are advertised on ebay as being 6 months old.. and here as 1 year old..?
They were put on june last year new by the previous owner by august i had spun a bearing, and its been sitting in my driveway for the last year, i only just got up the motivation to start pulling it apart.

They're actually haltech coils not Ls1. I'm putting an ls1 in after i pull out the rb26 etc.

Thanks for the replies, I knew the bottom end would be stuffed and expected the head to have some damage. Is there any way to tell if the turbo is alright it was like brand knew and under warranty? Also if it is damaged do you reckon i could get away with returning it? Is there any workshops in brisbane that will pull the engine down and tell me whats up for a reasonable price? I've got like 10000 - 15000 for the rebuild once my xr8 sells.

hi i have a 33 with a rb26 with forged pistons, shotpeened rods, new T04Z and old skool Haltech E6k. I was driving it a couple months ago when i could hear a slight ticking which i thought was nothing major but after a good beating the slight ticking turned into a sound more like a jackhammer and when i accelerated the oil pressure would drop. Stupid me being so sick of having the car on tow truck i decided to keep on driving and try to make it home. After like 5klm the oil light came on and the car died. Just wondering what people think would have happened and how much damage could i have done? The cars been sitting now for nearly six months untouched due too lack of funds. If anyone would be willing to come help me take the head off and see what damage i've done, i'd be more than happy to shout them their drink and/or drug of choice as long as it takes. cheers Luke

Hey J-Boy i was one of the guys that viewed the car when it wasnt starting, i would have loved to take it for a test drive as i have cash ready but your mate kelvin kept on saying he'll call me with a time but never did.
