  1. Indeed it does have a place for the oil drain. I finally got my motors out of storage and to my house and checked it out. Im thinking of putting a nice thick headgasket on my DE to lower the comp some and throw a KA transmission on it for an ultra low budget rb20 240sx just to sell.
  2. I know this is an extremely old topic but I have been searching the site for the difference between the rb20det vs. rb20de. I have 3 rb20 motors 2 det and 1 de and would like to use the DE as a spare motor to build incase anything happens to the others. So far the differences I have read are the DE block doesn't have oil squirters, possibly no spot for oil drain? Anyone shed some light on this topic I'm sure has been beaten to death.
