just got your p's? DONT buy a skyline. please!
for a bunch of reasons, one being most people crash and bash their first cars and we dont want more damaged ones! but also they just arent the same without a turbo or two, DO NOT even consider 'de-turboing' one either, countless stories of it costing a huge amount in time and money, oh and i dont think you'd even be able to drive a de-turboed car like that on your p's anyway..
buy an r31, learn to slide it and you'll be takumi in a turboed one....
-
Maybe at 25 yo im getting too old for this sort of thing. I say give it a 2 min wash at the servo then hand it in.
What is so exciting about flogging a Vectra anyways? A month after youve dropped the car off you'll barely remember it unless you do completely stuff it.
this is pretty much true
and ur posting on a skyline forum as well, why thrash a vectra?
-
i really think its all about attitude and driving style, if you're gonna drive to make your car stand out a cop'll get u, i personally take it pretty easy most of the time and am opposed to BOVs etc, and i think stock air boxes are awesome!
oh and sif use turbo timer, just wait (or THINK first: dont thrash your car right before shut off)
-
Or what they could have done is put the gear in Neutral, if it was an auto gear box at least then the car will just cost, then yank the handbrake up.
scando flick instead? see how those stockies hold up..
yea seriously, cant believe they didnt jam it into a wall or something to slow up
-
wouldnt all those spikes be rather illegal?
-
heck yes im up for this! and although skyline owners apparently only keep their cars for 3 years on average i predict this site to do well, since its about cheap turbo imports, which young people own and young people love the internet lol~

It's hard to find a buyer for these things mate. Most people that have a little bit of cash but lease it so need something newer, and the people that want these cars generally want it cheaper.
Your price is fair in my opinion, but your not going to get 100 people looking at it, like they would be if it was like 3k if you know what I mean.
Just stay at that, it's a good price, you'll find the right buyer eventually.

one of the hottest 'stock looking' R32's ive EVER seen, that thing is an absolute beast and will sell well mate! good luck!
-
his car his price. . .
+1, car is clean as probably goes like a rocket!
-
oh its a 34 gtt not gts-t~
gtr badge on a gtt is a whole lot of fail right there..
-
My son is 3, If I keep the GTR till he can drive it the car will the be ~30 years old. Will be interesting to see what cars will be like when he can drive it. Maybe the GTR will still be blowing everything away?!?
this is bringing up a couple of months old post, but i think what you've said is quite interesting, think about: petrol is 'apparently' disappearing more and more each day, car manufacturers are pumping money into 'green' electric cars and their promotion (and hydrogen etc etc), so if you keep up the servicing on your 2.6 twin turbo im sure it'll blow away the majority of cars in the future!
