man thats awsome, never thought id see the day of cars on lakeside again. i didnt even know they were having a track day out there.

I did, bought a 32 gtr, toured round Japan in it, did it up at all the workshops, track days, touge, drifts and it was a dream.
Am i the only one thats thinking preview to 2 fast 2 furious here?

OMFG! just bought tickets off ebay, i dont really like it doesnt happen all that often. i didnt even know he was comming till i stubled across this thread! ohh and paid alot less then 200, was about 130 for the brissy show on the 24th

what sort of cars are you looking to swap for? eg, ive got a 98 VT commodore factory supercharged, 115k pioneer dvd and clarion splits, if that takes your fancy

was at broady on sat night it was bloody ridiculus, my car was fine no worries but it just appauls me at the waste of police resources, setting up a booze bus in surfers would have served a better purpose

In response to RSC41, do you realize that Nissan Aust only brought 100 32Rs in to Oz?
And that whole recession thing at the time limited a lot of options until cheaper grey imports were available... and how quickly we forget Gibson motorsport - they weren't running stock GTRs!
Yeah fair call, anyway the point that im making is that as the car becomes more accessable so will aftermarket support. and as for those 1 piece turbo/maninfolds. what decent turbo upgrade doesnt warrent a new manifold?

is everyone forgetting that in australia at least it took at least 10 years or so for people to start SERIOUSLY modding the 32 GTR? i mean lets face it, somebody who spends that much dosh on a car isnt gonna be the type of person to do turbo upgrades and what not. Maybe 1 per cent of people in our scene are going to be able to buy one of these, let alone mod them. this car is the cutting edge of technology NOW, who knows where we're gonna be in 5-10 years time when prices come down and they are more redily available.
