  1. Oh yeah, I remember reading about it, that was crazy.. The most recent crash similar to this from memory were the guys that somehow obliterated their car on Epping Road.

On a side note (unrelated), i've been hitting the forums/gumtree for a daily, and i've noticed alot of p-platers selling their fast non-turbo cars to buy turbocharged cars since the revised laws came into effect. There seems to be strong demand for sr20's, although all are modified these days. Does anybody see this as a bad thing?

  2. Its good to hear that nobody died. Norwest Blvd is right next to my house. The now standard P-Plate laws came into effect after a p plater driving an STI crashed and killed himself and his friend on the same stretch of road, and the speed limit was reduced from 80 to 70. The road seems straight, but looks to be deadly.

  3. can you offer an assurance (in writing and co-signed by an attorney) that if it won't pass a roadworthy in it's current form, that you will either pay for all work needed to get it to a roadworthy condition, or supply a full refund of the purchase?

I, and i'm sure other's on here have been burned before with people claiming the car is road worthy, when it in fact needs thousands spent to get it to a roadworthy condition, i can tell from the picture's that it's likely to low, and if the rocker cover gasket needs replacing then it's fair i think to assume it's leaking oil from there, since you've claimed it it should have no trouble passing roadworthy, but there's clearly at least 1, possibly two items that may need addressing in order to get it to pass, what else might be wrong we're not being informed of?

You can fork out $100-200 or even ask some of the people on this forum to inspect the car. Best thing to do is get an official inspection, which will outline everything from the body and paint to all engine specific. If you want a cheap but roadworthy car, this would be the way to go. Everybody knows that GTR's dont usually go for $14k, so you would be expected to have a few g's ready for unexpected occurences.

  4. No difference between the radios from normal GTRS to Vspec. I got one for my 94 vspec off yahoo Japan a while ago, cost me more than the cd player I have in the car

    Hi all,

I just wanted to let you all know that some Skylines did come with an optional Alpine N'Fit CD stacker/tape deck with front and rear (illuminated) speakers. I can't find much information on the internet, but my V-Spec II even had special door trims that had Alpine badges instead of the usual ''live sound'' badge on the speaker covers (these have since fallen off). I can take photos of the head unit and rear speakers for anybody interested.

  5. This game was awesome, finished it on normal and now playing on hard (with I had played on hard in the first place). The storyline, gameplay and graphics are perfect. It really does make every other game look bad. Some parts also scared the crap out of me (ie hotel basement at 2am).

  6. As the title says fellas,

Im looking for a MINT pair of door trims and a stock gearknob for the R32 GTR. I was considering buying new door trims from Nissan, but they are $700.00 each...

    Preferably in Sydney.

PM me if you have a pair, or post on here but I will ask for pics and price via PM anyway.

    Cheers

    J

  7. This is interesting. My R32 V-Spec II has front N1 vents, front bonnet lip, rear boot lip, rear pods and the normal 3 piece side skirts. It also came with a complete Alpine N'Fit Sound System, with illuminated rear speakers (which are blown). I know for a fact that the front bar was put on after the car came out of the factory, so i can only assume that the other body pieces were as well.
