  2. Hey people.

Well I’m off to study full time this year so need to sell the car and get something more practical. I’ve had my car for a couple of years now and loved owning it every day! Take a look at the pics and judge for yourself. Not to many cars getting around on 18x9.5+10s all round every day, these are my favorite part of my car!

The car needs a new windscreen + castor bushes for a RWC, I can do these if the car sells for the asking price, and otherwise u can get it done.

  3. Hell why not. The perth/kalgoorlie pipeline was completed in 1903 and that is close to 500km with about 10 pumping stations. Without pumps another 100 year of technological advancement, it should be childs play. Especially because of all the electricity lines etc already.

But hey the pollies only do what they want.

Agreed, not to mention the north-south pipline is being done. So why not this one..

As much as I would love for this to happen I just dont think it will, there is to great an argument that there will be many future jobs lost now the desal plant is under construction.

Lets just hope it gets around and a pollie makes this one of there election promisses.

  4. To do this properly you need to;

    1. remove the whole stock intake including the pipes to the bov and oil breathers

    2. block/remove bov

    3. move the afm onto the cooler pipe (stops stalls and maintains mapping)

    4. make your oil breather vent to atmosphere (put a breather filter on it or add a catch can + filter)

    5. fit a 2.5" metal pipe 120 cm long to the front of the turbo. Gl fitting a pod in there your power steering pump is in the way, you may want to try a slight bent pipe (I haven’t tried this so I cant say you will get the noise)

I have set this up on two of my mates 33s in the past and the sound is the typical (dolphin/pidgin) noise.

You will loose some power if you are running a standard ecu and can possibly damage the turbo.

That said if you want the noise that is the way to achieve it properly.

And just for the record I don’t run this setup, my 33 is happily running the stock bov and air box

This should answer the questions. Thread can now be closed.

  5. Iv only made a claim through just car when my 33 got stollen. They payed me out in 15 days once the car was recovered.I also received great customer service.

But geez 2.5 months that is a long time, is that because the repairer has so much work on due to the hail storm?
