  1. I'm importing for myself and to help my future business.

But, I would think it would be easy to sell them in the US....there is definitely a market depending on how much it will be to obtain them. I'm definitely interested if you think you can supply them for a reasonable cost.

I would think that a rolling chassis over here might bring $8,000-$10,000 US dollars. With engine installed and registered....maybe $20,000 for an R32, $25,000-$30,000 for an R33. US Dollars. Those are educated guesses...no guarantee.

Oh yeah, also selling the shells that the parts came from, got the following:

    -R32 GTS-4 x1

    -R32 GTS-T x1

    -BNR32 GTR x 2

    -R33 GTS-T x1

    -PRIUS

    -180SX Type X x1

Dont know what i want for the shells, but the rails and tunnel and bits and pieces are worth money if you prang your car and want to fix it.... A couple of the cuts have been butchered for rails already though...

    Tom

Are any of these shells complete rolling chassis? Or are they all cuts? I would be interested in a full rolling chassis with no engine or tranny. Will you be willing to ship to the US?

Both of you guys throw up some pics or e-mail them to me at

with a price and a shipping estimate. I've gotten shipping estimates from GCT autos in Japan and they quoted me $2,100 to any port in the US. Seemed a little high...hopefully you guys could do better. :D

  4. Yes, it's Chris.

I'm on AIM most of the day, so it's a great way to reach me.

I'm very interested in getting a rolling chassis as I can always decide what motor to put in it. That would also give me a chance to finalize the details of legalizing it.

All your ideas are great...thanks again for all the help.

  5. I'm in Kentucky...yep...as in the chicken. It's considered the South, yes.

You could pick up a nice Mustang or Camaro here to drive around :P . You never know...might like it. They're EVERYWHERE and the parts are CHEAP. The aftermarket support for Mustangs and Camaros is probably unparalleled by any other in the world.

Haven't tried any Japanese exporters...don't know of any. Guess I should look into that.

  6. One of my S14s has leather...the other one cloth.

I do love the interior of the S14...very nicely laid out, but sadly, I have no Skyline to compare to :P

The US spec Supra is twin-turbo, RX-7 turbo, MANY Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, etc. that are 10, 11 second 1/4 mile street cars. There are a lot of Honds, but not many are fast. The domestic cars beat up on imports for the most part because not many can afford the nice imports (supras, RX-7, fairlady Zs)

Bowling Green, KY is actually the only place that Corvettes are built so there are a couple running around here. I'm moving to Louisville, KY in about a month which is around a 120 miles North. The scene up there is a little bigger due to a bigger population...but only has a 1/8 mile track compared to the 1/4 mile track in Bowling Green.

I'm assuming you guys know what I'm talking about when I say 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile. Forgot we're the only people still using miles :P Damn Americans.

  7. Yes, we have it pretty bad.

My cousin/business partner wants to sell one of his Mustangs and import a Skyline. We think we've found a way around the law....but the engine has to be shipped outside of the car and put back in once inside the country. So, we might be shopping for someone who has one with a blown motor or is willing to do something like this for us.

  8. Yep, both roommates are city police. Needless to say, I haven't had any tickets in the past 2 years.

Yes, a little small in terms of height, but it's pretty long and about 3" deep. I don't plan on keeping it....just want to get this bastard running for awhile. Most likely just so I can blow it up. :P

There are a couple of guys here in America w/ running RB20 and RB25 swaps in S13s and S14s. The SR20 is most common, and the CA18DET is growing in popularity since we actually got the CA18ET in the 200SX...parts can be found MUCH easier for that motor. I do believe there is a guy running an RB26 in an S14 in the New York area....and apparently runs 8's in the 1/4 mile.

You guys could make a fortune digging in junk yards all day and putting the stuff on Ebay or exporting to shops in the US. I will hopefully be opening one in the next couple months. If someone wants to supply me with some stuff in their spare time, I would be grateful and I think we would both benefit nicely.
