  1. Sorry about the late reply. Its the latest model I got it a year ago so its a year old and used. I had a 500whp setup on it and it did great. I am selling it because I have an Fcon V Pro now and where I live most of the tuners are better at tuning Fcons then Power Fc's and I cant afford to have them learning on my car...

    I need the stock R33 Ecu to drive my car to the Uk to have it tuned, I also need the Stock R33 wiring harness...

    Its not old it looks new, but it has been used...

  3. Here I have for sale 2x Nismo rr581 GT/LE MANS turbochargers to suit a gtr nissan skyline. A/R 60 front compressor cover with .48 rear for quick spool. These are rated at 640PS+ combined so will handle 20psi all day long. Rebuilt by Turbo Australia about 3 months ago and have not been used since. Also includes dual stage GTR actuators but there not in the pic. Other members have sold these for $2000 so be quick... Located in Highett..

  4. This is a question many have asked.

    I spent 2 years in Japan and before I went there I didnt even know how to change oil. All I did was turn wrenches for the Japanese in exchange for cheap cheap cheap parts. I once got an Rb26dett from a R33 for 400USD...

    Anyways I was going on and on about my honda days when we used to build the crap out of a tin can and call it tuning, I did alot of watching back then.

    I wanted to build a Rb25det and use the money from selling the 26 to achieve 500hp to the wheels with moderate cash less then 10kusd. Maybe around half of that.

    I went on about forged this and upgraded that.

    The Japanese guys scratched there head and said WHY!!!

    They assured me a stock Rb25det on a stock headgasket was more then capable of 500hp. They said to add a accusump, and some injectors, a ebay turbo and tune and have fun...

    I couldnt belive it but yes its true. How do I know? Because I did it and the engine is in my car right now. I blew the engine about 5 months ago but thats because I got boost happy and went up over 1.9 bar... oops my knock light got ignored because I wanted to teach a porche a lesson I won the fight lost the war.

    Anyway back to the story. So here is what your RB can take relaibly:

    RB20det: 350-400hp You will need a headgasket and might experiance lag of course you will need a turbo capable of getting you here along with a tune etc... But the engine itself is one of the strongest RB the Rb20det is stronger then both the Rb25 and 26... They just lack displacement.

    RB25det anything under 550 is golden with this engine its solid as hell and has half the problems of its big brother the Rb26dett its just the Rb26dett has more upgrade potential and can strectched farther now the R33 versions are solid. The R34 versions have weaker blocks and the computer crap makes them a pain to tune.

    The R32 have the oil starvation issue but before you go out buying Jun oil pumps and sumps and spending crazy money heres how the Japanese do it. Its called an Accusump it will cost you about 300usd that and a baffle and problem solved.

    The Rb26dett is excellent in the R33 sturdy block, better design, usually lower mileage then the R32 version, less complicated then the R34 version and can be cross compatible with all Skyline chasis. There is no downside to this motor, in order to reach well over 600 the rods and pistons will have to go.

    The engine can do 600 reliably with the right safety mods.

    Accusump, baffle, huge oil cooler, GOOD TUNING!!! GOOD TUNING!!! GOOD TUNING!!! I cant stress that enough... Its all about your tune when going for big numbers dont practice on your baby go to a professional now your beater is a diffrent story...

    This same information has been stressed before... You can do just fine with N1 oil pumps, and water pumps, you dont need Tomei, Jun, Greddy, they are overprices and good for another 1000rpm ooooh... An Rb is not an Sr it has the torque downlow to make you smile without high RPM...

    Also for the Rb25det guys here is a little advice stay the hell away from high lift cams that take major head mods, the reason is because the Rb25det is stroked in a way to reject high lift cams even after the head is built up. For this reason you lose low end power and without a Jun oil pump ie 1500 dollars you will blow your motor to get the most out of your cams, 256 to 260 lift is more then enough...

    If you feel you need 272's then its time for a Rb26dett... You lose power where it counts in a 25 with huge mods...

    No need to stroke your Rb26 to an Rb28dett. Michia a freind in Japan has 900whp on an Rb26dett with just forgies and bolt ons and he has lost no torque and he doesnt have a jun oil pump or anything like it he uses an N1...

    He also has poncams imagine that... He has 2 big twins and a GREAT TUNE!!!

    Save yourself some money and spend the money where it counts... Support mods...

    Research accusump it can be your best freind and save you thousands...

  5. I discovered this info from a German freind. He was 100 percent right on and save me thousands.

    I had an issue with my GTS4 I was pushing 500whp for over a year. I went through 3 transmissions and was going to spend the money on a getrag. I know some of you are thinking how the hell did you get 500whp out of a GTS4 arent those RB20det? yes they are stock... I swapped in a Rb25det from a Stagea series 2 did a frankenstein wiring job and tuned it with 740cc nismo injectors, walbro fuel pump, OS giken twin plate, metal headgasket, N1 water and oil pump, custom made GT3582R turbine with a few tweaks to that and a long list of other things. The wiring harness was from all 3 RB motors, and it was tuned in Japan with a Power FC Djetro to avoid the two mafs.

    Ok so back to the transmission. Here was my fix which is what my German freind suggested. I just installed doubled syncros from the R34 transmission bought directly from Nissan. Now my tranny can hold somewhere around 700+ hp...

    It worked, no dig, no grind, no hard shifting, no seriouse mods no 10k on a getrag or whatever...

    My stock 5 speed GTR32 tranny that I am using is well capable of high power gains. As for the heating issue I used heat dissolving dynomat all over the car to keep all heat and noise out.

    I have plenty more tips but this is it for now...

  10. Water pump will be ok to do,but the oil pump is a different matter.

    The oil pump was one of the last things i pulled off my motor when stripping it down(out of the car).

    So i can only imagine it will cost alot to get it replaced with the N1 item.

    Oil pump isnt easy but worth it. You have to remove the oil pan and crank pully unslot the crank from it unscrew EVERYTHING around it take a hammer rubber of course and tap it out then slot the new one in screw it up add some high temp sealant, slot the crank back in, put in the other small things and then do what you did in the beginning in reverse order.

    N1 is good but so is OEM if your not trying to make a all powerful Rb20det.

  11. Ok I have checked fuel and I am getting it, checked Air and I am getting it, pulled the plugs today and despite them being 3 weeks old they are toast they look BAD!!! I have come to the conclusion that my plugs are wrong. I have the NGK IRIWAY 8 spark plugs. My motor is stock other then a headgasket, injectors, and a 3582R turbine boosting 1.5 bar. Car is tuned with a Power Fc and the tune is showing fine.

    I have to crank the living crap out of the car to get it to start and when it does its blowing black soot all over the place even back fired but I am not seeing any knock on my knock meter its at like 5 knock which is fine.

    The car reeks of fuel but the fuel pressure seems consistent, the fuel pump is active as well. I have to literally crank it and re jump my battery 2 times atleast before it starts which is not good. Do you think I need plugs? Oh and I know I need a battery now.

    I am thinking I should tone down and go with 6's and trash the 8's.

    What do you think?

  12. My GTS4 recently had numerous upgrades and the very first night I went out the tranny sounded like a bag of rocks is in it.

    I am doing a GTR32 Tranny swap this coming weekend and need any advice or stuff to watch out for. I just want to know if its pretty straight forward or will I have issues with the driveshafts? Bolt patterns? or anything like that.
