  1. Its in the dyno thread somewhere, I've added WMI since then as well. Otherwise its nothing special [except to me], heaps of other guys on here with way better setups making much more power with clean engine bays, smick paint and bling etc.

Your youre biggest critic I like the car blacked out. Just was curious of the numbers.

  2. I'm running one and it fits no problem, just have to shave the front engine mount back a bit, nothing that a 4" angle grinder and flapper disc can't handle.

I have the HKS cast low mount manifold, 100mm port shrouded Garret GT3076r with HKS external gate and it fits and works well.

Moar about your car! Power numbers?

  3. A GT30 should fit but dont hold me to it, I just have experience as a friend ran one of these before going to a topmount setup. Worst case is you may need a spacer as in the skyline there is alot more room then our LHD S13. Best bet is to search around in the Dyno results and see if anyone is runnning a similar setup and maybe send them a message for for more info. Congrats on the Balla wastegate

  4. Anyone able to chime in with some help on a few questions. I performed a search and was unable to find much help.

    Can I run a ¨Blow through MAf¨ with the Greddy EMU? (Z32)

Can I run GM LS Coil packs with Greddy EMU?

And any insight, just getting close and needing to finish up the little stuff and start tuning!!!!

  5. Yeah I got The EMU with my old motor but from it being fairly stock I never used it. I was looking at the Nistune but after you get a Z32 Ecu and Type 2 board etc you could buy a PFC. I really dont have a ton of funds to spend on the ECU but definitly need to drive it. One guy I know managed to run his on the SAFC2 but it isnt very realible source of tuning in my opinon.

I only drive maybe 3-5000kms a year if that. So I just want to be able to go out start it and drive might have to look into a new option

  6. Back from 6 feet under! 2009 kicked my ass financialy but anyways car is back in full effect for this year due to a new job for my wife and I both!!

Anyways I just painted my engine bay and currently have the motor in for new headgasket and ARP studs as well as seeing if I can afford to slip some Poncams in well its apart but most likely not happening yet.

Picked up a Tial 38mm WG and currently trying to take care of the plumbing of the oil lines.

    Current Part list aquired:

    KU Engineering Intake Manifold

    80MM Throttle Body

    HX35 Turbo

    Tophat? Performence Exhaust manifold

Z32 MAF (Hopefully running blow through)

    Greddy E- Manage Ultimate

    680cc injectors

    Greddy Profec B

    Innovative XD16 Wideband

Autometer Oil Pressure, Boost, EGT, Water Temp

    Parts Needed:

    ACT Clutch

    LSD Diff

    Upgraded Coilpacks

    A little love!! JK

If anyone could pass on some info on tuning options or what to expect from the Greddy EMU it would be greatly appreciated. I have read through the FAQ but still get alot of negative feedback where I live. I just need to know if I should start saving for a different engine management or continue on the route I have started. Really excited as I have put alot of time and managed to keep my car through tough times.

  7. I already picked up the EMU with the motor and it basically just came with it in the deal.

I ended up working on a mates 07 WRX and installing a VF30 turbo with VF39 internals.... anyways it was a good night and we saw some great results.

24 hours in a day just aint enough anymore.....

  8. Well I guess I will take the manifold off tonight and try to get some pictures up asap for you. as for the internal gate i had read in your thread CEF11e you had to modify the internal gate and how has it held up for you? As well anyinput on tuning this setup with the Greddy EMU??

  9. Hey I just thought I would start a thread on my next challenge. Im going to try and squeeze the HX35 in my LHD RB25 swapped 240sx. So far I can tell that will definitely need a spacer somewhere around 3/4 inch and some oil plumbing.

Any input would be great and I have read through every thread on here and other forums on the Holset swaps. Really excited and awaiting a few last parts. Will start taking pics and keeping everything up to date but due to working 6 days a week time is my only factor.

    So far engine mods are:

    FMIC

    Profec B

    550cc injectors

    3inch exhaust (no cat)

Greddy EMU (unsure if this will be my final route)

    Holset HX35W 8 blade

    Custom huge oil cooler

  10. hey mate, im putting a HX35 12cm on a s2 rb25det atm which will be going into a 260z, housing will hit the exhaust manifold so im getting a 20mm spacer made up and putting longer studs in the manifold. just bit of a heads up

    cheers

    jason

Thanks alot I really appreciate the heads up! That 260z will be a beast

  11. After doing some research Im ready to purchase a holset turbo. Im looking at hte HX35W and using the stock manifold. Does anyone have any experiance with this and is it just the 99-01 Dodge Cummins trucks that came equiped with this turbo?

I have searched on here for most of this but just need to clarify. Thanks for the help guys!

  12. OMG.... alright it is where the pipes on your Intercooler and all the piping from the throtle body to the turbo connect. So I believe there are 6 of these maybe more. check all of them and tighten the hose clamps if needed. If you can grab a intercooler pipe and move it more then a half inch it may be loose. good luck........

  13. I was told that if you are not using a greddy style intake manifold, then you will have a hard time clearing the rad due to the IC piping(if running a thicker rad), this piping could be changed however I went through three stock rads last year so this year I am buying a new alum rad and forward facing intake manifold.
