  1. Is it QR that's really touchy about noise? Wouldn't want to trailer it 1000km to get booted off during the first session.

If your car is quieter than a Super Hornet you should be right. QR is in the buffer zone for the RAAF base so there aren't any real restrictions. Lakeside is where the noise restrictions are.

  2. Well thats not very surprising considering on the info page for Caltex E-Flex it clearly states -

Bio E-Flex is specially formulated to meet your flex fuel car's requirements all year round. Different seasons can change the way fuel performs in your engine, so Caltex will adjust the blend of ethanol from 70 to 85% between seasons to ensure your engine performs correctly.

    From here http://www.caltex.com.au/ProductsAndServices/Pages/BioFuels.aspx

It is something to be careful about for sure. Fineline found out a bit more about it and they just have 2 blends. It would be nice to know when they switch between them though.

  3. The RB's need merc engines.

Or some F-Duct BS...Thankfully they aren't running it from next year. Really still can't see what all the fuss about homoton is about, sure he pulls some good times occasionally but he is still just a whinging little flamin mongrel when things don't go his way...

  4. Nah, you can, I'll just laugh at this pic below some more

Cool, cos this one is still better

Lewis has the WDC title but he's not the best driver out there. He's the guy with the fastest and most reliable car this season who can drive it well sometimes.

  5. - Massa's penalty, he cut the corner, had his whole car on the wrong side of the white line, then took Hamilton out. Defiantly a Penalty. Defiantly worse than Hamiltons pass then let kimi by then pass again a few weeks ago, but yet they got the same penalty? Dodgy.

Heiki did the same thing to Webber a few races back when he was in a good position and it completely f**ked webbers race. All heiki got was a drive through.

Does hamilton have some super braking powers that let him stop better than the rest of the field? He had no chance of ever pulling that off into turn 1.

  6. No. If LH had stayed behind KR instead of cutting and running, he would have had the usual concertina effect to deal with coming out of that slow turn - where the time gap stays the same, but as speed increases the distance gap increases. The cut and run put him way closer to the ferrari up the straight than he would otherwise have been, and that advantage in proximity enabled, or certainly assisted, him to make the pass immediately afterwards at the end of the straight.

It's pretty obvious to the majority really. It seems only the louise fanboys can't see it. Try telling me lewis would have been right next to kimi at the start line if he had not of cut the chicane - He gained advantage, doesn't matter if he gave the place back, he would not have been there if he had not cut it. Theres is your advantage.

Here's to hoping webber doesn't get taken out again next race!
