If you have the mods to handle 8500-9000rpm get the car on a dyno as you wouldn't want to break the thing.
Chances are coils are buggered.
or if its still an rb25det head the valves are floating.
it is a gtr head,i have gapped the plugs, nail polished the coil packs and still no good, i will keep trying

hey mate, i have the same problem i have nail polished the coil packs, gapped spark plugs but no good i can only get 7 psi to rev cleanly on boost any more than 7 and it is like the rev limiter comes on at 6000 rpm.
i am onto it, will diagnose problem soon and let u know ...

Hi mate - does it sound a bit like a rally car? Sort of brup brup brup brup really fast? If so, it's your spark breaking down, get new plugs and gap to 0.8 and tape/epoxy your coil packs (instructions in general maintenance forum). If that doesn't fix it, you might need to go for split fire coils.
As also mentioned, if it is more like a total cut out it could be fuel delivery. Are you running the standard pump?
Also, you shouldn't really be reving the engine to 8500, that's too high for the stock motor unless it has been re-built and balanced for high revs.

pitty it will rattle like a motherfarker, and the door handles will probably fall off after 30 000kms, then it will start chewing oil etc etc
by next year, you will be able to hail one down to take you home from the pub

hi i am able to rev to 8500-9000 on 7 lbs of boost any more and it is like the rev limiter is coming on at 6000,i have tried timing, no good.

the timing from idle to full revs?

the cas i put on has died and the old one is now bent and moves so does any one have a cas i can bye to fix it, well hope so.

you should check all intercooling joints(silicone hoses) for small cracks cause as you build boost those rubber joints will swell and cause the split to open and release your boost causing engine to break down.Eventualy
the split will get bigger and the end result is car wont even run!

Hey guys, getting some cash in a few weeks so im looking to get my 93 R32 GTS-T to around 190-200KW
Mods i have right now are:
FMIC 600x???
Turbotech bleed valve (havent boosted it)
3" catback
HKS air filter
Ive been discussing this with a few mates of mine trying to decide what to upgrade, i was told maybe to get:
RB25 turbo
GTR Injectors + resistors
Stock Airbox
3" full turbo back exhaust
Re-map
and this should give me around the power i wanted but im thinking of a bigger turbo.. i was looking for something low mount/hi-flow so cops couldnt tell what ive put in, just dont know what my options are an prices.. I know my mate was telling me i can get T4 internals put in for $1400 but i'd like to know what you guys think would be some good mod's and estimated prices plus how much it would cost me to get put in..
ive been reading alot of threads but yeah just kinda confused on whats low mount and whats not and yeah any suggestions would be good..

hey dude the cops cant touch you even if you hi mount the turbo and up grade to a t88 for example.
because the car came out as a turbo car. it can have any turbo you want on it. as long as you have it all plumbed in right eg(afm or air filter connected,screamer pipe plumbed back in and BOV plumbed back in) i know cause i just went through all that bullsh#$%t and got through no worries.
im runing a hi mount TD06-25G and i had no worries!!
as you can see the turbo looks alot higher than it is in first photo but in the second photo it all blends in.just some of the magic that secretgarage can do!!! give them a call.
if you have any questions on turbo installations call kurt or andrew from secretgarage on 0405982775 and they will be more than helpfull in all aspects! they did my car!

i have pink injectors in my skyline they are supposed to be nismo 750cc, i had my car at pits today and matty couldn;t recognise them. does anyone have nismo 750cc injectors if so what colour are they. thanx.
