1. Correct me if im wrong, but C-Red and Garage101 build engines, dont they?

My partner built his 25/30. Maybe you could email him and he can give you some tips.

    Let me know.

  2. I have bc br type coilovers in both my 33 and 13. Very stiff coilovers and very good height adjustment. I would say a little too stiff for a daily if your not actually looking for that kind of stiffness. However I would recommend them. And you get cool little plastic signs and shit in the box :D

  3.
Cops put the sticker on straight if you have been cooperative and increase the angle according to how much you pissed them off.

I heard.
This is true, my mates mum works as admin at the pits (forgot where) and a mechanic i use to deliver to just got a job at the pits, he said in osbourne park. They both confirmed that they have been told to comply with the cops wishes of the bigger the angle the less of a chance to get it off first time. Of course its not a written rule but it seems to happen alot.

If its on a 90degree angle, good luck on getting it off first time around.

Cops can also, if you already have a sticker, give you another one but with less time.

  4. Ive got BC BR coilovers in my 33 s1. Put them in last night, height and damper adjustable. They are firm but in my oppinion they arent too firm for street use.

I picked them up brand new and delivered for 1250, got a set for my silvia as well. Easy to fit and adjust.

So far would definately recommend but we'll see how they go.

Oh and they go low low low low haha.

  5. Yes NA's ftw. It's like a joke only certain people understand :P

Sorry, i cant remember which one you were though, everyone seemed to just gather around, but it was great to meet some new people!

And that drunk guy asked me for my email address... wtf, are we back in 1997?

But i remember your car, very nice :P ive seen a few dogsballs r34's out there, i worked with a guy that drove one, i can gladly say that yours was not one of them hahaha :D good work :D

  6. But you went so slowly!

Sorry, I was going to apologize earlier, I was looking to overtake and check out Jason's Beamer, since I've not seen it up close, and I live in the hills = know those roads much better than the backs of my hands, since I barely look at them.

Also... Pretty sure I was miles behind you anyway!?!

Anyway, LOTS of people has squealing brakes. Maybe a group buy on break pads is in order?

f**k man, i had my eleven year old brother in the car, if i was by myself i might have gone faster, ive been through the hills many times as i also live there, ive also seen what happens when you overestimate your abilites as ive also been in a crash up there.

I was leaving a gap between me and the car in front for a reason, maybe something you should learn to do. Your on your green p's like me, regardless of whether you live in the hills or not you shouldnt be taking that risk, especially when its a cruise because you would be putting other people at risk if you f**ked up and seeing what happened with that r32, its not fair if someone else has to pay the price for your actions.

Keen for higher speeds? then go through in your own time or organise a cruise with people that want to do a high speed hills run, it was a cruise, not a race.

If you wanna go through at those speeds then fine but i sure as hell wasnt gonna do it in a stock suspension auto r33 with my little brother in the car.

Cruises should be about people driving sensibly and to their ability, i shouldnt have felt pressured to drive faster then 80kmh through a dangerous stretch of roads because some idiot was tailgating me because he wanted to check out another car, which are what meet points are for anyway.

    Cheers

  7. Was a good cruise, only just got home. We stayed back at the last meet point for a chat

A few wrong turns but we all got there in the end.

Cept for that black 33 that was tailgating me all the way through the hills, made me a bit edgy.

    Good to meet new people.

And condolences to the r32 owner who was involved in the accident, i dont know the extent but i sure hope its repairable

Ive been on silviawa for quite awhile since i own a 1991 s13 silvia but ive just bought myself a black r33 as a daily.

Both are NA because i like to think of myself as a bit of an NA enthusiast and i cop quite alot of rap about it from the guys on silwa, but hey i dont need anymore speeding fines :)

Hope to meet some of you on the combined cruise, i dont know which car ill be taking yet :D
