  1. What ever happend to thid, did you fit wrx seats in the car?

My self is looking to fit evo (possibly wrx) seats as they are so nice! I just don't know if they fold good enough (or at all) so people can get in the back seat.

The gtr33 seats are okay, the gtr34 seats were kinda to small for me, or at least for my legs (84kg and 187cm with long legs).

Would really like to know if you got this to work and how.

    /Stefan

  2. Hey,

I have the same leg issues, "to long legs" and trying to find a way to sit further back, by change original rails or get new seats.

Did you ever find any seats that fitted for you?

    /Stefan

  3. yep, i tried. but still ... not quite helpful.

may be no seat will suit my height. (190 cm) mellow.gif

  4. Most excellent info mate!!

Did the removal just an hour ago and it was very easy. I only used a flat head screw driver and a hammer and it was done in about 10 minutes on one side! Time here is now 00:22, so I'm going to bed.

Will do the other side and install the new super pro bushes with camber correction tomorrow.

    Many thanx!

the 33 upper outer arm has a pin/bolt the whole way through, so take the nut off the end and knock the pin through. then prise the arm off the upright.

prise the one end of the bush off, flat head screw driver between the upright and the bush. once you have 2-4mm, some needle nose pliers, open

em up and wrap them around the bush. then push back and forward until you have the bush off. then you can access the bush on the other side

from the center to knock it out.

you can do all that with the arm still on the car, as the bush is in the up right (its quite different to the 32 arm) .

grab the new bush, knock one side in. put the bolt back on (this is if you have split bolt with the new bush) with the largest washer you can

get from bunnings etc, tighten it up a bit.

knock the bush in the other side and do the same. tighten em up, then take the washer out and put the arm back on.

    Hi,

I have read throgh the whole thread and I have some questions about this very interesting group buy.

Im looking to lower my GTR, but I want to have it as soft as possible. I have had other cars before with coilovers and they were allways to hard/firm. I wonder what springrate the whiteline springs are and which of the whitelines that is included in this package (control or flat out) ?

Sorry don't which ones are fitted - I would suspect Control

Anyone know the standard spring rate of the GTR (none V-Spec) ?

The bilstein shocks, how are they compaired to the standard shocks?

My car came from Japan with some Teins - these are way too stiff for me! The Bilsteins fitted as part of this group buy are quite firm and sporty over normal roads but allow the car to glide over speed humps - pot holes etc. My daily drive is a 2007 XR6 - the Bilsteins feel firmer around town than the XR6 but the Bilsteins rides the bumps like the XR6.

Do I need camber correction when lowering the car with the whitelines ?

After lowering the rear camber was too much - I fitted one set of KCA 347 to get the camber back to about -1deg.

I will have to look at the front camber soon as this is a little too much as well.

I would recommend you buy the bits from Whiteline and contact Gary Cook (SydneyKid) to purchase the Bilsteins - He has them valved to his specifications.

    Thanx for the answers Blk33.

    BR, Stefan
