  2. was there last wednesday and saw the run, congrats bobbo is one hell of a car... We were perplexed (pun intended) at the 10.26 @ 197 kph though, as to get a low 10 sec pass you'd need to be trapping at well over 23kph.. You missed 5th true but still to me doesn't explain the speed.. Did they stuff up the MPH perhaps? The ET is definitely correct...

I think the low MPH was due to the miss of 5th gear, if you look at the vid on youtube you can see for approx 50m before the line the car is just rolling, hence i would have lost speed. thats what i put it down to.

  3. thanks guys,

Had abit of trouble pulling 5th gear.

jeffery, it never ran in japan, only came over here with 1500km on the clock and some kind of "run-in tune in it", i have revised alot of things with it, but now comes the full rebuild, cage etc.

  4. Public Enemy, Do some better research before commiting to an ecu.

I have found With wolfs you can only go to one shop to get them tuned. no one else in wa wants to tune them, (nib maybe teach people about them but do you want someone learning on your car.)

From what i have seen wolfs have starting problems, and seen at motorvation with the white r31, also the tunes some of the tunes i have seen are questionable, 13.5 afr hmmm, either that or the wolf changes its tune all by itself.

if i was to do it i would go a power fc d-jetro, easy to get tuned, everyone knows them. no starting issues, the dont change there tunes and they seem to be the going ecu for quick cars in wa, aust and the japan.

or the F Con Vpro seems good, most crazy jap gtr's run this setup.

  5. From what I can gather, the Wolf will also get you better fuel consumption that a PFC. More tunability etc. My car off boost is awesome on fuel, can get nearly 600 to a tank now days. On boost when fuel is needed it is there.

The fuel economy has nothing to do with the ecu, its all to do with the tuner.

I know wolf's get good fuel economy because the tunes you get in WA are so lean, they just melt the piston out of the motors. which makes fuel economy really good .

PowerFC all the way. The votes speak for themselves.

  6. BOBBO...nice graph dude, thats more like it. I guess thats in RWD?

Just to clear up a few things, this is simon's dyno graph. R32 GTS on here. i also run a similar to4z setup but dont have any dyno sheets on my pc. i was just using it to show the similar responce to paul's setup.

The motor has forged internals, and hks 272 cams.

Am i missing something, 627rwhp is about 470rwkw.................. thats nothing like Dirtgarages graph.....

you can compare it to his race fuel graph, either way i wasnt talking about top end power, just the responce of the setup. which are very similar for both.
